In China calligraphy is an art form. In other cultures it's an artistic way to represent writing ~ plus, there are people who fancy themselves fans of calligraphy who use it elsewhere.

Speedball pens have been used for decades ~ a century even ~ for purposes other than calligraphy ~ which is why I suggested folks look things up ~ remember, we have a claim that certain writing must have been done with felt tip pen ~ at a time before felt tip pens were around (not just uncommon).

Yet, is that true ~ were there other pens that could create marks before 1961 that looked like felt tip pen marks in 1975 and the dawning of cheap fineline felt tip pens.

Remember, we are not advancing the idea that these signatures were done with modern (Speedball) calligraphic pens, but that the marks and style folks think they see were not then, or before, exclusive to the realm of felt tip pens.

Now, about your wife's calligraphy, is it worth hanging on the wall?

Oh, one more thing ~ if your wife is familiar with Chinese quick script methods of writing (wherein the characters standardized for the character language are reduced to something like Greg Shorthand) have her take a good look at the LEE signature.

I've advanced my notion of how it might translate, and using "Yellow Bridge" (which allows you to copy characters and such and get English and Chinese translations) it's at least a quick notation for something that might mean "Hawaii" in that creole they speak out there.

If other COLBs turn up with out-of-sequence numbers in regards to their dates, you would have a case for paper processing being the culprit. Otherwise this is only one instance, and you have no case for your theory based on one (Obama’s) out-of-sequence number.

Janice Okubo said that the “date filed” is the date that the state registrar assigned a number to the BC.

Obama’s was supposedly given a number on the 8th and the Nordykes’ were given numbers on the 11th. Piles sitting around or what order things were stacked would not explain this discrepancy.

What I said before I will say again, just in case you’re really SLOW and not deliberately acting obtuse. The 151 is the code for births. That number was pre-printed on all the birth certificates. For late birth certificate forms it was pre-printed with L151 (for “late”).

The middle set of numbers was what the HDOH Administrative Rules call the “volume number”; it is the year. Before Y2k it was 2 digits (for example 61); since 2000 it is 4 digits (for example 1961).

The SERIAL number that is specific to the individual named on the BC is the 6-digit number.

The complete file number is all 3 portions put together. But the only part that is specific to the individual is the 6-digit serial number that ends the whole BC#.

You have been told this twice. If you want to see the specific citations or evidence for what I’ve said, say so and I’ll give you more. But FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, please stop saying that nobody has addressed this. It makes you look like you’re either deaf, dumb, or a liar.

I’m running out of patience with people who keep re-hashing the same stuff as if they missed it the last dozen times we explained it to them. If you want to disagree, fine. Then we can hash it out. But if you’re going to deny forever that we’ve given you the information, you’re just sandbagging. Knock it off!

This is the second time I’ve had to call you out on this issue just TODAY. Once when you tried telling Jeff he had to give you a citation for the statutes that require a seal for a certified BC even though I had already given you those cites. And now when you claim nobody told you what those parts of the BC# are all about, when I just got done explaining it to you earlier today.

You’re wasting everybody’s time, and considering the pattern of your behavior I’d say it has to be deliberate. Just stop! If you refuse to engage with the information you’re given then you’re just stinking up the place so others have too much crud to wade through if they want to genuinely sort it out.

The reason is that's TWO DAYS AGO ~ you are crossing swords with your own swaths of anger.

I simply missed your post (when 3 years ago?) where you went into detail on the process.

So, the 151 is PREPRINTED ~ finally picked up on that from one of your earlier posts.

I think I guessed that ~ yet, we had OTHERS claiming it wasn't, or just ignoring it.

There must be 50 different relatively current threads on this particular issue. Not everybody reads all the threads in their entirity. I do just in case there are some nuggets.

What you need to do is BE patient ~ so, you know something ~ doesn't help when you start screaming about it.

The posts were directly to you. Yesterday. On both issues. You responded the same way to both: went on different threads later in the day where you thought I might not be, and act as though you hadn’t seen this and as if these questions you have render this whole discrepancy with the BC# undecipherable.

People notice this kind of stuff. This is how people get labeled as trolls. You know in your conscience what you’re doing. I’m not God and don’t even want to apply for the job. I’m just telling you what people see, like a mirror, so you can deal with it.

We’ve been over this before ~ check the times. If you get too cranky on who is answering what with which you’ll just get POd and upset ~ this is not the only topic in which I have an interest. BTW, check this ~ http://denver.cbslocal.com/2011/05/08/4-arrested-after-suspicious-incident-at-dia/ TSA has begun arresting people for taking pictures of security operations/lines in Denver. One does wonder if they will arrest Righthaven’s lawyers who are suing folks (including FR) for running a picture they claim to own which involves activity at a TSA shakedown in Denver. We can hope.
