A May Day rally in Los Angeles, co-sponsored by the SEIU and various communist groups, as well as other unions, reflected yet another step in the normalization of self-identified communist and socialist ideologies in the Obama era. Not only did the SEIU help to organize the rally in conjunction with communists, they marched side-by-side with communists, while union members carried communist flags, communists carried union signs, and altogether there was no real way to tell the two apart.
Southern California citizen journalist and photographer Ringo was on hand to record the days events, and posted a full-length photo essay on his site Ringos Pictures. To bring this important photo essay to a wider audience, I present here a small selection of Ringos May Day pictures; visit his site to see dozens more photos from the rally.

Marxists are completely indoctrinated in the belief that all religions (opiate of the masses) are bogus philosophies concocted to oppress and control people. The only thing they hold pure are natural laws of science. However, the core of their beliefs is that the “class struggle” garbage they are taught is a natural law, similiar to the chinese Yin/Yang.
Thanks decimon.
Government employees are at risk and have no desire to see their generous tax paid government salaries, government benefits and their lottery style government retirement pensions tampered with.
Oh well, if we let it happen...
No, their not *union* people. They are ALL *government* employees who belong to a government union.

The SEIU's history goes way back at least to the 1930s and it was in the socialist/communist camp back then. They should be wearing red clothing in the photos. Don't know why they choose purple.
Communists marching openly in the streets of American cities is nothing new historically. It was very common from the time of the Russian Revolution up to the late 1930s, and May Day was their biggest day of the year. New York and Chicago were the biggest Red strongholds back then, and probably still are, along with San Francisco and Los Angeles.
“Demonstrations” like that are why Hiram Maxim invented the machinegun.
Time to resurrect the House Unamerican Activities Committee.
Surely SEIU represents some private sector employees as well. It was originally a private sector union.
” Just remember, these are the filth you are talking to when you go to the DMV, the county for a building permit, to pay your property taxes, to see your vital records...which they control. “
They are thugs, and don’t give a rat’s ass about their own people. Obama is the quintessential rat thug union organizer....except for the fact that he is an effeminate coward, and a total con man.
They just haven't gotten the recipe right. /sarc
Unfortunately, each “experiment” results in millions of people dying.
Probably a good many of us here would be surprised at what our recent ancestors fell for back then.
Considering the 100 million they murdered in Eastern Europe, Russia, China and Southeast Asia, that should be the order of the day
SEIU is primaily hotel, food, and other service industries.
Most government unions are AFL-CIO.
They all look like illegals.
