most disturbing observation (because it seems ever more true):
“But perhaps facts no longer matter.”
you can see it here when people rabidly argue in defense of an unnecessary and brutal war and their iconic lincoln despite any amount of evidence you provide.
our only chance is to teach our children well so they don’t repeat the mistakes of our ancestors and ourselves.
