McCain...blah, blah, blah...

So again, are you saying he would have been worse or not? You said "almost as bad" several times, but you keep going out of your way to make it seem like he'd be worse. If you think he'd be worse then it's ok you voted for Obama, but if not, then you still haven't justified your vote...other than voting for the hasten destruction of the country, to which (if that's so) i threw out the "name" of traitor.

I used to give monthly to the Republican Party

And therein lies the problem. Support people not parties. There are snakes in both parties, so donating to the "party" doesn't discriminate. But if (a) you admit there are only 2 viable parties, and (b) you want to help reform the one, you support the people who represent you.

Donating to a "party" helps the cause about as much as paying your taxes...slim chance to none that your money goes where you want it to. Same as donating to a third party.

In 2008 McCain was almost as bad as Obama. Had McCain won, I don't know if we would be better off or not. The conservatives would not have had a visible enemy as we do with Obama and so may be the Dems would still have all of congress. And when it comes to everything Obama has passed, McCain would've support his "friends" across the aisle and that would have been going on for an extra two years because the Republicans would've been blamed for the economy and not won the house.

Says the guy that says to vote for the Republican no matter how liberal he is. Can you not see your self-contradictions?
