Post 157 is another piece of evidence that shows the good side won in 1865.

You just keep telling your self that, pal. Over and over and over and over......and pretty soon you'll be doing the 0bama chant.....that is if you're not already doing it....

What does it matter about the degree of 'better' that posted since you were willing to waste a vote and help put 0bama and his marxist regime in power?

It matters because it shows you can't tell the truth.

And because you wasted a vote you obviously thought that McCain was NO better than 0bama in you warped view.

Again you lie. I said "not much better". Not enough better to vote for him.

Are you saying that we should never vote for a Tea Party conservative over a Republican if the Republican is ahead of the Tea Party candidate in the polls but behind the Dem? How are we going to fix the country if we always vote for McCain types who aren't much better than the Dems?

There wasn’t a good side in 1865, BOTH sides lost.

The reason why there was a war in the first place is because there was a good side...willing to put an end to an evil practice.

Most other nations let evil go on and on and on, it’s what makes us different.

Can’t take a joke huh! Picked it up at a Civil War reenactment I attended out of curiousity. Got a chuckle out of it.

It matters because it shows you can't tell the truth.

The truth is that YOU helped put 0bama in office.

Are you saying that we should never vote for a Tea Party conservative over a Republican if the Republican is ahead of the Tea Party candidate in the polls but behind the Dem?

They're called primaries, genius.

How are we going to fix the country if we always vote for McCain types who aren't much better than the Dems?

How are we going to fix the country if bozos like you split the vote and ensure the dummies retain control?

Can you honestly say that you'd rather have Zero in office than McCain? Is that what you're saying? Are you one of those lets-punish-the-RINOs-by-letting-the-dems-have-control crowd?

How can you whine about evil when you helped put Zero in office?

Pukes like you ought to be perma-banned from FR!

Slavery was wrong, the war was wrong and neither one should have happened. The war has not ended, it goes on and on and on. The 2 sides aren’t shooting at each other anymore just arguing endlessly...... on and on and on......

Sure, next time I hear from I’ll pass the along. Might does make right when it’s the right doing it. (and by ‘’right’’ I don’t mean the political ‘’right’’)

(Hope you were not offended by my post #153 - I just think it’s impossible to determine ‘might-have-beens’ a few decades after the fact, let alone a century and a half later... ;>)

You don’t want to face the truth, which is typical of you POS yankees.

So I’ll repeat it: if it wasn’t for the South the north would be a communist dictatorship.

In a perverse sorta way it’s kinda good that the union was forced back together, otherwise, The Confederacy would have a hostile communist country at our northern border.

A communist dictator in the North? Right. The truth is sonny boy the South took a pretty stupid, reckless and dangerous gamble and lost. You face up to the truth. The slave-holding South was a tyranny in itself.
