Who had the balls to remove Tricky Dick Nixon who had won in a landslide to secure his second term as President? Nobody.
But the drip, drip, drip of the Woodward and Bernstein investigative reports slowly built a case of a sitting President (unindicted co-conspirator)involved in the cover up a crime.
So what happens when there’s drip drip drip of
-illegal land deal with Rezko and other shady dealings
-election fraud
-forged federal documents (Selective Service Registration)
-use of multiple and fraudulently obtained SSNs
Slowly the picture emerges that a sitting President is not only involved in a cover-up, but he is a criminal. A criminal that the democratic party and the media hoisted upon our nation UNVETTED.
How will that go over with the general populace? time will tell...

Thing is, this time around, there is no real media interest. Much of Fox News is even in bed with this president (O’Reilly for example). No way will they fully investigate.
Nothing is going to come of this. We are stuck with this incompetent at least till the next election. We should now concentrate on finding a true conservative candidate to run against him and ditch Romney, Huckabee and the other RINOs.

The media abhorred Nixon as it had no other president until, perhaps, W. The media were fully motivated and committed to humiliating and removing RMN, to the point that just about every White House, RNC and CRe-eP employee was under a microscope for nearly two years, while the very same media ignored scandals of at least similar proportion on the Democrat side—massive unaccounted foreign cash contributions before and AFTER the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, Teddy’s deals with the Russians, treason charges never brought against Lt.(j.g.) Kerry, etc.
Actually, the Nixon haters went back to 1947 and never gave up. Conservatives were the ones defending the non-conservative Nixon. Obama, on the other hand, is actually beloved by at least 50 million Americans who see him as their secular saint.
Great comparison Mike! To bad a few give-ups, (or just flat out hussein lovers possibly), don’t or won’t see the history lesson watergate provided. Little by little, week after week until Nixon could fight no longer.
So far the general populace couldn’t give s**t one about the issue.
