Pretty! How old is the place? It’s neat seeing photos of “the real thing,” especially as a native of Calfornia, where a 120-year-old home is considered ANCIENT!

Lovely. Great to get the family out of London and into the countryside. Looking forward to doing that here!

I always wondered what’s unique about it that makes a house a “cottage”?

How quiet is it when those big lorries come screming down the road outside? I spent some time in the cotswold part of the UK and while driving on a seemingly quiet country road you would be suprised when these big rigs come barreling around a turn. But it tryly is a nice place they have.

Is that a lake or a river?
Pretty.

Congratulations, great for your son.
Reminds me also of somone I know:
He was born in a third world country, his father was a drunk and played around with all kinds of women. His mother was a slut, who had multiple marriages and abandoned her son at an early age. The kid turned out to be a liar, who hung out with crimninals, but he did have the gift of gab and lots of people love him.
You can see pictures of his house here.

Thanks for sharing. Nice home!! Some of my favorite series to download from UK torrent sites are “Escape to the Country,” “Country House Rescue,” and “Britain’s Empty Homes,” plus any other program featuring historical homes. I’m also a big fan of “Time Team,” as well as historical documentaries and mysteries.

I'm reading Great Expectations to my kids now. It's my second time through -- I'd forgotten how funny it is! "The Aged P." is one of our favorite characters (nod vigorously).
