Ensuring the long form birth certificate is viewable by every person in the world certainly may result in “birthers” closing the book on the subject, but find me a “birther” who would vote for the man anyway.
Why should he “release” it? Politically, it’s working in his favor to leave the subject hanging in the wind. His supporters and many others don’t care and think the birthers are crazy.
I guess the heat from The Donald was getting to the point where politically, they needed to contact Hawaii and have them make a certified copy of Hawaii’s long form and send the PDF over for distribution.
So, those of you birthers out there. Will you vote for him now?

My husband and I decided to use a Canadian Hospital right across the border from us for the birth of our last child. The hospital was the only one within a reasonable driving distance that would guarantee that my husband could see one of his children enter this world.
It is our understanding that our daughter is ineligible to run for the Presidency, since she was born on foreign soil, even though we are both American citizens.
Am I wrong? If not, something is off with Obama being eligible with one foreign parent.

If you believe what was presented today was in fact a real birth certificate, and credible independent document experts can confirm that it is in fact real and not a forgery of any kind, it still does not prove him to be a natural born citizen. In fact it would prove just the opposite, that being he IS NOT a natural born citizen therefore ineligible to be president.
If this is in fact his real BC why has it been kept hidden and protected by lawyers incurring massive legal fees to do so?
Given oblunders history of being a pathological liar why should I believe what has been presented today? He’s the POTUS who’s had 2 years to try and perfect a passable forgery.
Things that still make me skeptical besides the aforementioned money spent on lawyers to keep it hidden.

His Kenyan father’s race is listed as “African”, since when nationality become synonymous with race?
Forty years ago when our house burned down my original BC sustained heavy smoke damage. Years later when applying for my first job and needing my BC for the first time to apply for my social security number I needed a new copy of my BC. I went to the Ohio Dept and Health and was given a copy of my original and they were identical and would be whats considered a long form BC.
Is it common for states to have on file 2 different records for a persons birth, a long AND a short form.
At the end of the day today’s charade of trying to put this issue to bed has only confirmed what we “birthers” have been saying all along, “Obama is constitutionally ineligible to hold the office of the President of the US and IS NOT natural born” whether or not this latest BC is real or forgery.
Next, let’s see the school records.
Please substantiate this claim.
Why is this any different? Are we not to look to the founders original intent of what the term meant and why it was put in the document in the first place?

It wasn’t necessary in 1787 to take up space in a concise document like the Constitution when the standard, international definition of NBC was known to every statesman in America.
De Vattel, BTW, was Swiss, NOT British. He was respected throughout the 17th Century world for “writing the book” on international law.
Our whole legal system is based on the common law. Blackstone was the big expert on the subject in days gone by.
The Founders knew what they wanted and maybe they could have been more specific in some of their wording. But they tried to be concise and therefore made a few assumptions. The Second Amendment is another example of the text not providing the entire original intent.
We have to look at the text, the discussions of the Founders leading up to the text, and the extra-constitutional sources they looked to and respected. They did not operate in a vacuum.
Also: look up the famous letter of John Jay to George Washington on the subject of NBC if you have the time.

The idea is to be strict about not letting foreign interests and people with foreign leanings take over the national government. We were sloppy about Obama-—a true anti-American-—and look at what it got us.

The SCOTUS could rule on any of this if it wanted to but it simply refuses.
“Certificate of Live Birth” is the correct legal name for a long-form Hawaiian birth certificate.
“Certification of Live Birth” is the short form.
However, that thing he published today is shot full of holes and appears to be a crude fake which is so bad as to be embarassing.
Only ‘rats and RINOs would accept such a piece of crap unquestioningly.
