One Freeper's take on the birth certificate releasae
April 27, 2011 | self

Here are the points I see 1) This is a big win for Trump and America. 2) The release has killed Obama's plan to use a Clintonian rope a dope with this issue. I think he planned to let this issue simmer until October 2012 then pull the rug out from under Trump or whoever the GOP nominee is. That card has been played and it still hasn't killed the issue, you can hear that in the way it is being reported. 3) There are still a few serious questions about the document and what it does. Since Obama's mother was only 18 at his birth and his father being a Kenyan did he get the type of citizenship required to be president? 4) Trump is just beginning. If he could get Obama to answer this question in a month, he will have less trouble with other issues. How can Obama keep dodging demands to release his 2012 budget?

This is a long way from over and the score is Trump ONE Obama and the media ZERO so far.

Sorry - my post was meant as a reply to someone else.

Obama’s BC was irrelevant to Lakins conviction. The UCMJ does not consider motive when it comes to obeying orders. Being ordered to deploy by your commanding officer is a lawful order. Besides, Lakin knew that Obama’s father was not an American - it is not like he hid it. He had his answer already. The honorable thing for Lakin to have done is resign his commission.

Lakin went to jail because he was fool enough to believe the birthers. The world is a tough place for fools.

Cook ruined his own career by volunteering to deploy then filing a lawsuit. It was obviously a political ploy that the Army rightfully refuse to have anything to do with. The stupid part was that he applied for Contentious Objector status in order to avoid deploying - as a defense contractor is doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that it would not be conducive to a long career serving the Army.

Fact: All of which could have been completely prevented if Obama had proved his natural born citizenship.

Why wait more than 2 years? Why wreck the careers of two men?

Opinion: Only a sadist would do what Obama did. I bet he burns up ants with a magnifying glass every chance he gets.

A **real** natural born citizen would be HONORED to promptly prove with all the best evidence that he was eligible to be president and Commander in Chief. He would be especially pleased to do this for any member of the military.

AND he let a good man spend time in prison rather than produce this BC to satisfy his doubts.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Don't forget Major Cook. His orders to deploy were rescinded the afternoon before the court hearing. The next day, his security clearance was withdrawn and he immediately lost his job.

Obama? Wa’da guy!/ s

I bet he stabs the eyes out of kittens for fun.

No - he was a Deputy Attorney General. There are a whole bunch of them - they are simply lawyers that argue cases.

He is also 911 Truther who sued George Bush. He also sued to have Thomas and Scalia disbarred.

Care to explain to me again what a stellar conservative scholar he is?

Do you think his recent birth certificate is real? Are you saying that it would have been accepted 2 years ago? Somehow I have my doubts that any of this could have been prevented judging by FR’s reaction today.

Cook screwed himself. Volunteering to deploy then filing a lawsuit was considered by the Army as un-volunteering. It was a blatantly political move that the Army refused to play along with. They are fighting a war - they don’t want to deal with idiots like Cook that are using them for a personal agenda. He lost his clearance because he declared for contentious objector status as part of his suit. The Army does not usually reward incredibly stupid people.

Pure speculation and conspiracy theory on your part. It is impossible for you to read the minds of those involved in Major Cook's case.

This is just one more example of afterbirthers being the flaming conspiracy theorists that they are.

Weren’t the birthers expecting to find that he didn’t have a valid birth certificate?

No. He almost certainly had one, two, three, or even four birth certificates. One of the birth certificates was virtually certain to be valid. The problem was discovering which one was valid and accurate, and getting Obama to present the public with the full, true, non-digital, unmanipulated, genuine, and valid birth certificate. He has still failed to do so. The only things he has provided to the public are some obviously digitally manipulated abstracts of a purported birth certificate the public still has never seen in a non-digital and unmanipulated form.

As matters now stand, Obama could have a perfectly legitimate and accurate Hawaiian birth certificate on file in Hawaii, and the public could ever know for certain because the digital abstracts he deceivingly misrepresents as full and true copies are obviously not what he and Hawaii purports them to be. This latest digital copy of an abstract does not even pass the laugh test for a document free of potential for fraudulent manipulation.

That he was born in Kenya?

Fake or not, the Kenyan birth certificate is more legitimate in form than this latest Hawaiian digital farce. So far, the evidence available to the public certainly does not exclude Kenya; British Columbia, Canada; or the State of Washington from reasonable consideration as the birthplace. It is certainly interesting how Obama waited until the two physicians contradictory reports claimed were the attending physicians had recently died before releasing this purported birth certificate. Some of those evil minded conspiracy theorists just might suspect he waited until they could no longer deny Obama's birth before he risked releasing the purported birth certificate with one of their forged signatures.

If it is an abstract, what information do you think is missing? What would a non-abstract BC look like? His has the same info as the Nordyke’s - are those Bc’s abstracts too?
