One Freeper's take on the birth certificate releasae
April 27, 2011 | self

Here are the points I see 1) This is a big win for Trump and America. 2) The release has killed Obama's plan to use a Clintonian rope a dope with this issue. I think he planned to let this issue simmer until October 2012 then pull the rug out from under Trump or whoever the GOP nominee is. That card has been played and it still hasn't killed the issue, you can hear that in the way it is being reported. 3) There are still a few serious questions about the document and what it does. Since Obama's mother was only 18 at his birth and his father being a Kenyan did he get the type of citizenship required to be president? 4) Trump is just beginning. If he could get Obama to answer this question in a month, he will have less trouble with other issues. How can Obama keep dodging demands to release his 2012 budget?

This is a long way from over and the score is Trump ONE Obama and the media ZERO so far.

Just 1/2 hour ago, on my Fox News radio affiliate, Barry was quoted as saying the controversy over his LFBC was, “SILLINESS”.

Barry, why didn’t you produce this for Lakin? Putting him in jail was silliness?

If this is a novel use of white out, does that mean that one could call it the ‘White-Out Birth Certificate’? On second thought, can one call it the ‘White-out, African-In Certificate’?

Unfortunately for you, the entire US legal system disagrees with your definition of NBC. Besides, Lakin knew that Obama’s father was not an American - it is not like Obama hid it. Lakin had his answer already - I don’t know why he didn’t do the honorable thing and simply resign his commission.

The U.S. legal system has never tried the Obama issue on its merits, nor has it permitted discoveery of the evidence. There is an extensive record of court cases which have defined the meaning of natural born citizen, including at least one or more cases which cited Vattel's Law of Nations. The fact that much of the present day judiciary is breaking its neck, credibility, and reputatoin by trying to avoid a fair and open trial of the evidence suggests there may be some justices who may deserve to be impeached for the violation of their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution. SCOTUS has been reversedd by later SCOTUS sessions, and it can and most likely will happen again.

Lt. Col. Lakin ccertainly could have requested his resignaton from his officer's commission, but it is highly unlikely to have been approved and would have forfeited the benefits he earned at the risk of his life and limb.

Time will tell, I suppose. Why is it that no conservative legal groups support your view of NBC? As far as I know, not a single prominent conservative legal expert agrees with you? Are they all trying to commit career suicide by supporting Obama no matter what, or is there the slightest possibility that they are right and you are wrong?

Let me guess. Anyone who would agree with me is someone you would not agree is a "prominent conservative legal expert." Isn't that how that kind of argument works? It's interesting you require the support of prominent legal experts and groups to conclude and bolster your opinion, rather than take notice of the fact Obama was a natural born citizen owing allegiance to HM Queen Elizabeth II at birth.

No that is not how it works. The simple fact of the matter is no prominent conservative lawyer or legal scholar agrees with you. If there was, you would be able to give me some names instead of trying to deflect the question.

Well, most reasonable people would find it passing strange to see you claim such while ignoring all of the many attorneys who have been representing themselves and others in the eligibility lawsuits you have noted were being dismissed by the courts. It can hardly be regarded as an attempt to "deflect" to see your rather obvious ploy to turn this thread into a knockdown dragout fight over the meaning of who is and is not "prominent" enough to satisfy your standards. So, why would anyone want to waste their time arguing it with you. After all, it took an impeachment and finally a Federal Court to get Bill Clinton to argue the definition of what oral sex is or what is is. So, thank you, but no thank you.

There are legal groups and attorneys who agree, and I am not going to get bogged down with you trying to argue whether or not you happen to think they are prominent enough to count to you. They are to be found as the plaintiffs in the lawsuits, the internet searches, and among the books on the subject. I'll let the readers find them and evaluate whether or not they are prominent enough without running them past you for approval.

I seem to remember something Trump said about the hospitals had no record of Obama or his mother. If he has proof that Kapiolani has no records, Obama is toast. Pray.

Berg, Taitz et al are not prominent conservative lawyers or legal scholars. Give me a call when someone with the gravitas of Federalist Society agrees with you.

Yes, and no one else who disagrees with you will ever satisfy you either. Obviously, if they disagree with you, they must not possess "gravitas." You are making use of the redundant false appeal to a false authority argument. Since you are obviously determined to reject anyone who disagrees with you regardless of reason, there is no rational point or purpose to be served by discussing it with you.

Weren’t the birthers expecting to find that he didn’t have a valid birth certificate?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Rather than prove his natural born citizenship two years ago, Obama allows a decorated officer of 18 years go to prison, and ruined Major Cooks career.

Obama also WASTED tax dollars and tax-paid attorney time to prevent the release of common documents. He did this when plots were being laid to blow up Times Square and a Pittsburgh marathon, explode a plane out of the sky over Detroit, and KILL our soldiers on their bases and recruitment centers.

Gee! Wa’da Guy! /s

A sadist like Obama likes to pull wings off flies just to see the squirm.

What’s with you guys - are you so close minded that you don’t even bother to address any question that doesn’t fit into your view of the world?

Talk to the mods - your question has already been addressed.

AND he let a good man spend time in prison rather than produce this BC to satisfy his doubts. This is a strategic move in an all-in chess game. I hope the “vast right-wing conspiracy” anticipated it and is ready to counter it with a strategic move of their own. Didn’t Trump say something about no hospitals having records of the nativity? If he can prove that SAD was never a patient at Kapiolani, it is ballgame for Obama. PRAY

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

i didn't ask a question.

I made a statement of fact. Rather than prove with all of the best evidence 2 years ago that he was a natural born citizen, Obama let a decorated officer go to prison, and wrecked Major Cooks career.

Now for the subjective part:

Wa’da guy! /s

A man that would do that pulls wings off flies just to see them squirm.

One more fact:

There is more to being a natural born citizen than a long form birth certificate.
