There is a new GAS-roots movement that started yesterday of everyday Americans who are frustrated with high gas prices, high food prices, and high prices overall. They are now posting sticky notes on items that meet with their ire. These American Sticky-Men and Sticky-Women are sick and tired of Obama's deliberate indifference to their plight. So now we sticky our notes blaming Obama across America. If the media won't stand with us because they feel a misplaced loyalty to Obama, then we will go from the ground up and and get the word out about how Obama is failing America and that it is his responsibility for this economic crisis. This article has a link to a Facebook Event that explains what we are doing. Please help us with our GAS-roots movement! Thank you!

I shop at Whole Foods. I probably wouldn’t make it out of the store alive.

It is a good idea...I’ve been doing it off and on since the ‘08 election.

Don’t care about it in this case...Tea Parties coast to coast need to get active big-time with this simple, inexpensive idea...

Yeah, and let me guess? You are probably someone who opposes the good works Trump is doing as well?

Take a chill pill and a deep breath.

There are exceptions to ever "rule" and regardless of where (or how) a GREAT idea comes to pass, let us embrace it, run with it, spread the word about it and not focus on where it came from or the motives behind it.

I personally have never had a problem with links to blogs. I know JR doesn’t like them and I respect his wishes and would never engage in such a posting myself. And I never have.

The only time I ever posted a blog (about 3 years ago) was a single entry of a friend of mine (not my blog) and I posted the entire article.

But it doesn’t bother me, the links to blogs. I like looking at the different formats on different pages. That’s what the internet is all about. But that’s just my opinion and I’m not giving it to get in an argument about it, just say what I think.

As for this particular blog, it deserves to be excepted from the general rule because you really do have to go to it and see all the photos of all the sticky notes.

What a wonderful idea. I’m going to start doing it today. And start pushing the idea with everyone I know.

I particularly like the note that ends in “Nobama 2012”

I’m going to end all my notes like that.

“Don’t like the price of your gas? Buy a new car. —Obama”

“...Inflate your tires.” could be another.

I see you are doing Obama’s work by keeping people in the dark.

This works better if we don’t use Obama’s name. Refer verbatim to ‘Hope and change’ in a negative sense and then use phrases like ‘New Leadership’ or ‘Lack of Leadership’ while denouncing high prices. I’ve found that men and women on the street are more willing to listen if you don’t start with an outright attack on Obama, but rather ELUDE to or make subtle reference to him and his lack of leadership and a hope for new leadership instead. The problem for us, is that, yeah, he’s a jerk and WE KNOW IT. But when we tell others that he is, we come across as the jerks. There are ways of implying ‘Obama’ without saying his name or directly attacking him. It’s all about persuasion. Catching more Bees with honey and none of that makes anyone a RINO.

This is an absolutely great idea. A silent protest. Might get to be a pain for merchants, but they can make it easy on themselves and just leave them up!

Funny...attacking Bush by name seemed to work out just fine for the left. His approval numbers were in the tank when he left office; with $1.50 gasoline, low food prices and low unemployment...
