I’m not accusing the HIPPO law [name change in honor of Abercrombie’s nickname: Hippomouth] of pretzel logic. I’m accusing you of irrationality. You’re saying a hospital can publicly affirm a person was born there, and that they cannot publicly affirm the same person was born there. This is what happened. Kapiolani publicly affirmed for 6 mos, in many different ways, that Obama was born there. Now you’re saying they can’t do what they did on acct of Hippo. If that’s what it takes to cover for Obama and his enablers, that is what you’ll say. Nevermind that it is irrationality x 1,000,000. No useful idiocy is too extreme for the Obots among us.
Perhaps you should. Anyone who I've ever talked to who has had to deal with the law says it is one of the most illogical things Congress has ever enacted.

Actually, it appears that the law says exactly that. You see, by displaying the letter, but not explicitly affirming its contents, the hospital is NOT affirming Obama's birth there in the eyes of the law, though to any reasonable person, is in fact affirming it.
As other posters have said, the law is irrational.
