I’m not accusing the HIPPO law [name change in honor of Abercrombie’s nickname: Hippomouth] of pretzel logic.

Perhaps you should. Anyone who I've ever talked to who has had to deal with the law says it is one of the most illogical things Congress has ever enacted.

I’m accusing you of irrationality. You’re saying a hospital can publicly affirm a person was born there, and that they cannot publicly affirm the same person was born there.

Actually, it appears that the law says exactly that. You see, by displaying the letter, but not explicitly affirming its contents, the hospital is NOT affirming Obama's birth there in the eyes of the law, though to any reasonable person, is in fact affirming it.

As other posters have said, the law is irrational.

curiosity, you are the biggest Obama-apologist on all of FR. Your devotion to him is scary. I have attempted to reason with you in the past, but your irrationality is impenetrable. I don’t know why you use FR to relentlessly defend this shady, dishonest, deceitful man. You do, though, and it sets you apart. You are unlike any Freeper I’ve ever met. You get almost rabid when someone challenges the honesty and integrity of your man. It’s almost like a mental condition. It’s certainly beyond anything I can offer. Perhaps Corsi’s book will help. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s in it.
