Ron Paul is to the Constitution what Fred Phelps is to the Bible.
I'm not ready for the old folks home yet.
If its irrelevant, then show the documents and move on.
The man is, overall, an embarrassment at best.
I cant wait to see what the Ron Paul supporters have to say about this.
Ron Paul could say farting is unConstitutional and they would agree with him.
Hey Paul! If you consider one part of the Constitution irrelevant, then you must consider all of it irrelevant. You can’t ignore one portion of the Constitution to suit your position while enforcing the rest. It’s an either or proposition.
My first thought also but seeing how they support this idiot, I can imagine their responses a bit tho.
Always suspected that the Constitution was irrelevant to the Paulestinians.
He may as well resign his office. If he doesn’t know the answers and has no desire to get them then he isn’t worth a plug nickel.
I just tore up my campaign for liberty donation check.
I must say I am a little surprised. Mr. Paul is treating the Constitution just like Obummer...or a Chinese food takeout menu.
THAT is one of the most BRUTAL comments I've ever seen on Free Republic.
And I like it.
Because it's true.
Ron Paul the "constitutionalist": The Constitution is irrelevant.
I've often wondered if he's reading some sort of strange redacted version of the document.
Now that's brutal too.
Hittin' 'em where it really hurts.
Exactlly
He should call in to Mark Levin. Would Levin interview him or give him the 20 second clock?
“Would Levin interview him or give him the 20 second clock?”
Ron Paul would sound like “Crazy Jim from Brooklyn” if given the 20 second clock.
Brutal and I like it too. Well said.
It comes from the same flaw liberals have in how they read it. They start out with their beliefs in mind, then read into it what they want to make it work. Almost every piece of legislation the most lib congressman writes, he can give you what he thinks is a Constitutional justification for it, and it is usually an illogical twist.
For the Paultards, they don’t use the Constitution or even the underlying belief in individual freedom as the foundation. They instead, start with what RuPaul says about it and make it fit his world view.
