Celebration of Earth Day is important to so many people, especially on the left. I believe that Earth Day should be celebrated in my own way. I feel that pictures best show how great our planet is and the great resources that come from it.
The Morton Salt Company mine in Utah's west desert is a great example of beauty. Notice the mounds of salt behind the plant. Salt to grace tables, go on roadways in winter, keep ice off of driveways, provide traction for walkways and many other uses. Morton extracts salt from the land surrounding the Great Salt Lake.

:) Thanks. I worked hard on this one. We are Earth Day and the beauty of the Earth that it offers to us. We all want clean water, air, et al. But the Earth gives us our civilization as it is, and not using these gifts from God is an insult to Him whose Earth it is.
