This is what needs to be done and thanks to sites like Twitter and to citizen journalism, it can happen. Papa Johns was alerted to the beyond odious post on Wonkette and, as a result, they say they are taking steps to ensure their ads no longer appear on the sewer slime trash site.
@robertcurlin Thank you for alerting us to this. Weve taken steps to make sure our advertising doesnt appear on that site in the future. about 3 hours ago via HootSuite in reply to robertcurlin
If you choose to be disgusting and vile in order to garner the attention you so desperately crave, dont be surprised when that attention backfires when those with common decency are outraged and call you out on it. And when advertisers use their right to pull their ads from sites that publish absolute filth. Well done, Papa Johns.

I suggest we all go out and by a Papa John’s pizza this week. And if Hugs pulls their ads, I’ll buy some diapers today. No babies here but I’ll buy them anyhow.
To: Bigtigermike
Good...who else advertises on that vile website? Call them out.

I looked at disgusting site this morning but I did not see that Hugs ad. So very weird. I’ll buy diapers as well and donate them somewhere.
Papa Johns for super tonight.

And they were advertising on Wonkette before this because???
Don’t companies bother to exercise a little oversight into ad placements anymore? Apparently not.... pay some ad firm to get them X number of exposures for the best price, with no regard to where. Maybe they’ll be more responsible going forward.

That is all fine and good, but why advertize on that radical hacks site in the first place? Papa Johns pizza is terrible anyway. I don't think I can get drunk and high enough to pick up a piece and eat it. I remember thinking, last time I was offered it, that his product made Dominoes look delicious.

I bet I’d be amazed at the companies that advertise on pornographic sites. If I visited them.

You are correct, but worth buying over this. You could always give it to a homeless person. Sweet care by the way.

I think you are right. They pay some company to do web ads and don’t even know where they go... but they should be aware of where the ads go. If it’s vile, they should request ad be placed elsewhere.

You could always give it to a homeless person. Nearly every town has a soup kitchen...buy them some PJ's pizza...it's a win-win!
