The CB Patriot Project

Americans are dangerously inter-dependent upon cell phone towers and Internet servers throughout the nation. Whether intentional or by natural disaster, ALL of these can be instantly shut down during “emergencies”.

The CB Patriot Project is organizing around a simple technology and making it the back-bone of an emergency plan. By linking patriotic Americans across their homes, cities, states & country, we will be prepared for national or regional emergencies that could otherwise shut down our ability to communicate with one another.

After the financial meltdown of 2007 and the 2008 elections, millions of Americans organically organized and united with one another in a way that might never have happened without the Internet. If you remember how empowering it was to be among the millions who rallied together nationwide, you KNOW that the most important asset we have is EACH OTHER.

Those who desire to stifle liberty know that communication is key and that is why they want more control over the Internet and cell towers. That is why it is vital that no event and no would-be tyrant can ever take that away from you or any other American.

We are being so overwhelmed while our core American values are being attacked from ever angle, so much so that it is difficult for most people to keep up with all of the subterfuge being waged againt us. Following are a couple articles from the past year expatiating on how the left are trying to usurp enough power to shut down all Internet communications in the country in the event of loosely defined, subjective "national emergencies". Read the excerpts; then decide for yourself whether you are going to WAIT until they derogate this power before making a backup plan for yourself.

If you want to prepare... (continued)

Any ideas on what the Patriot Channel will be? Channel 9 is for emergencies. Maybe Channel 4!

Back in my teenage CB days, my mom could wipe out my CB reception whenever she stepped on that sewing-machine pedal. It would raise heck with the TV too. Worse yet, the last time I messed with CB’s, all I heard was “HOLA-HOLA-HOLA-HOLA-HOLA!!” from some blow-torch rig on Mexican skip swamping the frequency along with one or two channels on either side.

So, I can imagine that if the gubbamint wanted to hit the “kill-switch” on the internet, vigorously enforce something akin to the fairness doctrine and/or otherwise place strict controls on communication — I doubt they would have much trouble jamming the 11m band as well.

But, it will work (and be fun) until the jamming starts, so I say go ahead!

If you would examine it, you would realize that 1) it’s open source, and 2) that it contains elements of plausible deniability, and 3) we aren’t talking about PGP.

Now, If you think that your every move is going to be analyzed by No Such Accountants, or their equivalents, well, you must be a very important and dangerous person.

For the rest of us in the real world, who aren’t James Bond, it provides an easy way to pass information even on removable media in front of regular cops, Fibbers, and others. It can be done regularly. It can be done with decoys. It can be done with encoded information that won’t make sense even if the plain text is discovered. It can be done with nonsense. It can be done with plans or messages for parties.

It is highly effective, as the hidden partition cannot be revealed under all but extreme investigative methods. Which don’t usually travel around in squad cars. There’s a time and resource element, where one can make them waste huge amounts of resources and time. It is far easier to generate fakes than it is to break through them.

Since you are evidently Dr. Evil, I suggest sharks with laser beams as a means of defense. The rest of us will settle for what we have.

You are posting at free republic. You are probably not as insignificant as you think.

“Nothing is so unworthy of a civilized nation as allowing itself to be governed without opposition by an irresponsible clique that has yielded to base instinct. It is certain that today every honest German is ashamed of his government. Who among us has any conception of the dimensions of shame that will befall us and our children when one day the veil has fallen from our eyes and the most horrible of crimes - crimes that infinitely outdistance every human measure - reach the light of day? If the German people are already so corrupted and spiritually crushed that they do not raise a hand, frivolously trusting in a questionable faith in lawful order of history; if they surrender man’s highest principle, that which raises him above all other God’s creatures, his free will; if they abandon the will to take decisive action and turn the wheel of history and thus subject it to their own rational decision; if they are so devoid of all individuality, have already gone so far along the road toward turning into a spiritless and cowardly mass - then, yes, they deserve their downfall.”

Think about this, the folks who wrote the above were essentially the freepers of their day and they were ferreted out without computers. There are some things I would sort of count on. “They” CAN read your mail. Things aren’t going to go well for “us”. The day is probably much later than any of us realize. March 13, 2008 was THREE YEARS ago. Good Luck. Make it count.

Well, I am. I can’t plan lunch most days, much less anything more important.

But I know this sort of tool could be useful to people engaged - for example - in efforts against the MSM or the unions or others. I am a privacy advocate. What if you were taping union goons at a rally and the video file was saved where they couldn’t find it? Or someone finds O-bot’s birth certificate and needs to pass it along.

I know of the tool and how it could be used. There are people here who are way more intelligent, way more skilled, ex military, and so on. But they may not know of the tool.
Maybe computers aren’t their thing.

Besides there are ‘common’ uses. Wives. Ex-wives. Financial data.

No ‘secret’ is safe. But this is safer than carrying it on a notepad for sure.

Oh! Another good one. Don’t have to worry about the TSA goons stealing or reading laptop data, if they can’t find the hidden drive.

The point I am trying to drive home (and I do hope folks are paying attention) is that ALL communications are compromised. Don’t risk your life on anything. He told Peter that he would be “sifted like wheat”. I would bet even now we are as well.

I suppose “keep secret from whom” is a valid question. Ex-wives don’t have an army of “listeners” and an infinite budget so perhaps your point is well taken in that regard but even then I would consider “nullifying” the info and leaving it in the open as a better strategy than secrecy. The case of a former Illinois Senator Ryan comes to mind. As the former General Noriega learned info is power and a secret is a ring through your nose you can be lead around with.

Yow, really. I wouldn't be taking that to a sex club. I'd be asking her to bring her girl friends home!

Hotness.

Though Jolene Blalock was under rated. OMG. Just like give me a night. Just one.

Its a nice idea, but if Obama wanted to shut down the Internet or Cellular telephone system what would prevent him from going all out and jamming Radio tranceivers?

Lack of equipment?

This is true but each and every transceiver has it’s own “fingerprint” upon key-up. It’s a graph of the opening “click”. Remember, none are anonymous when Tx.
