Donald Trump. Just say the name these days and you'll get a reaction. Liberals seem to hate him. Populists love him, and conservatives are intrigued, but suspicious of him.

Right now there's a debate getting started in conservative circles. Is Donald Trump really one of us? He sure talks like one now, but his track record says otherwise....

He can’t as he always donated to the Rat party. Look at his online campaign contributions. He is doing a great job stirring the pot but he is not electable as a republican.

Trump’s own audio clips from Mark Levin show.

Devastating in my opinion, and I’m sad to say they were a real eye-opener to me. Decide for yourself. This is really, really not good.

http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2011/04/sound-trumpet.html

Highlights:

In his own book, “America We Deserve”, Trump writes, “We must have universal healthcare. I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one. We should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses.”

Kiss your freedom goodbye.

He gave no support whatsoever to the Tea Party and attended not a single rally, but donated to their opponents: Schumer, Weiner, Harry Reid, etc.

Donald Trump says he adores Nancy Pelosi and can’t understand why she didn’t do more to impeach the “evil” (his word) George Bush for “lying” to get us into Iraq.

Donald Trump says he can’t understand why John Kerry didn’t win in 2004, since Bush was so “wrong” on the war.

Trump said that George Bush was the worst president ever, although now he has changed his story to say Obama and Carter were the worst.

Don’t be fooled by this guy.

No, sorry. No matter what he says, he has a lousy record. And there is no reason whatever to believe what he says.

Like Juan McCain in the last election, promising to be a good conservative! How long did that last after Election Day? About five minutes? Only Trump is even worse than McCain.

I am amazed that FReepers can’t stand pro government health care Romney with good hair, but think pro government health care Trump with a bad wig is the cats pajamas.

He can't. He's been in bed with the enemy and his motives are suspect at best. If he exposes Obama for the fraud he is, well then he has served a useful purpose. As for supporting him for President, I wouldn't even piss on him if he were on fire.

We’ll find out if he goes third party. There’s nothing anyone can do about it if he does.

He won’t win the pub nomination.

I’m glad he’s illuminating the issues. People are MAD AS HELL about Bummer, WAY more than about Bush. BDS was false, manufactured. America is really angry about Bummer in a genuine deep way.

If he goes 3rd party he’ll gain a lot of that anger vote, and probably siphon 1/4 to 1/3 from the pub vote.

The 1 guy who said that people who vote for him would otherwise be voting Bummer is insane.

He gave money to Harry Reid to beat Sharron Angle. Strong supporter of border security there!

Trump is a Self-promoting Blowhard who I doubt is very Conservative at all. He's Cynic, Hypocrite and all for Number One.
May I remind everyone that there were a lot of folks on the Perot bandwagon when her first came on the scene.
Perot though may have a had a good shot if he had not shot himself in both feet and his Paranoia had not come out of hiding.
Trump will never really run if not for the simple reason he would have to file all of those Financial Disclosure forms that would prove he is not as rich as he says.
This is all smoke and mirrors and makes for good TV and entertainment for Trump.

Time-travel back and plant proof he gave two craps about either the GOP or the conservative movement before the beginning of the year. For starters.

With all his money, I wonder why he hasn’t gotten a hair transplant. I hear they do a good job nowadays.
He could have one going on under the comb-over and nobody would know.

Well, for starters, he needs to erase the last 30 years of his personal history.

I cannot believe that Tea Partiers and FReepers are falling for this fraudulent opportunist.

“I am amazed that FReepers can’t stand pro government health care Romney with good hair, but think pro government health care Trump with a bad wig is the cats pajamas.”

The truth is breaking out fast about Trump, and it’s really bad.

You have FReepers getting all defensive, and lashing out at those who tell the truth, but that’s the way it always is. Slow learners.

Trump’s phoney “conservative” act can’t survive the light of scrutiny. Too many facts are coming out.

Trump would have been forced into bankruptcy in 2008 if he hadn’t been bailed out by George Soros.

Trump is paying the Hungarian piper right now with his cynical attempt to infiltrate the Tea Party and it won’t work.
