Seems the their hyper JIT stocking strategy has gone to the extreme of...Don’t restock until the customer searches for an item and finds it out of stock lol.

The original "green" cleaner -- Simple Green - works great but green has a different, literal meaning there.
the rest just sucked and were dumped down the drain
Ooo, the greenies wouldn't like that.

As far as "green" cleaners go, the only one I like is...
This product line works...does exactly what they say it will.

Maybe they will bring firearms back too. I wondered what idiot made the decision to take them out of most stores.

“Maybe they will bring firearms back too. I wondered what idiot made the decision to take them out of most stores.”
They did, under pressure.
BATFE made a “Deal”, they would not take away ALL of China-Marts licenses if they “Voluntarily” gave up about half of them.
The real problem was that China-Mart managers and corporate did not bother to ensure that everyone manning the gun counters knew what they were doing.
So a lot of guns got sold with nothing more than a sales receipt, no “Brady Check”, pistol ammunition sold to under 21 year old buyers, etc.
Kalifornia used to pad their state income nicely by pulling surprise inspections, they could count on finding errors and levying hefty fines just about every time.
Maybe kids or seniors who failed as burger flippers should not be working the gun counter at China-Mart!

“The type of upscale shopper who would buy organic produce and free range chicken is the exact same shopper who thrives on stories about how exploitative Walmart is.”
Too broad a brush. I buy organic produce and sometimes free-range chicken and I have no problems with Wal-Mart...I shop there too.
To: PROCON
OMGoodness, they hired an AL Goreie? That alone should have caused 8 quarters of losses. Now they need to get rid of the person who made that idiotic decision.

Important note to Wal-Mart: Don’t just get rid of the dummies hired to execute this nonsense. Get rid of the bright boys (who have probably since been promoted) who brought them in the first place. Trace back and find out who was responsible, and get rid of them, and you will prevent such disaster in the future.

How did it work out? Why, just like every liberal idea... very badly.

Its a complete mystery why Walmart would try to cater to upscale shoppers. The type of upscale shopper who would buy organic produce and free range chicken is the exact same shopper who thrives on stories about how exploitative Walmart is. Walmart used to drink the koolaid. Now they spit it out.
