O Reilly is fraud. ALL TV supports Obama and Fox is no better. Keep watching TV - your viewership helps Obama.
“Keep watching TV - your viewership helps Obama.”
I gotta ask a question.
I see you on a lot of threads, with the same one line message, essentially stop watching TV because it’s brainwashing us, or somehow watching TV equates to a vote at the polls for Obozo, or whatever opponent happens to be running against us.
But if no one watches, how will we know what lies are being told to the unwashed masses who don’t read your posts at Free Republic, and how can we counter the lies if we don’t know what they are?
Also how are we supposed to see the candidates that we do like if we don’t have the funds, or time to follow them around the country while they campaign?
Wars are won on intelligence. The way you obtain intel on your enemy is to spy on them Barring any of us having listening devices placed in strategic locations around DC, just how do we do this if we abide by your doctrine, that all TV is bad. Is it that somehow my 55” LG LED TV gets up off it’s stand at night and goes to a pro-Obama meeting, and casts a vote for the bozo that negates all the work I have done for, and will continue to do for Conservative causes.
Being assumed to be too stupid to decipher what’s being shown on TV is demeaning and belittling. Whether you intend to or not you insult a large segment of the participants of this forum every time you post a gem such as “Keep watching TV - your viewership helps Obama”.
You know next year, I’m going to watch the Republican National Convention, on TV. Maybe the Tea Party Convention also if we have one. And I can promise you one thing, whether it’s watching that, an old Bob Hope/Bing Crosby movie, or the NASCAR race this weekend, there’s more of a chance Obozo will resign tonight than me voting for him next year. As a matter of fact, I’m sitting here right now listening to “hippie” music from the ‘70’s off my Satellite, through my TV, and home theater system, and I don’t even have an itch to vote for a liberal.
So who would you propose we listen to or watch to find out what they are doing? That argument about never watching is getting really lame. Look at how much of what we talk about here comes from what is reported on TV. Would you, who think we should never watch, rather we put our heads in the sand? And please dont tell me to listen to the likes of Rush or Levin only because we would be sorely behind the 8 ball with the eligibility issue just as an example.
