That sums it up. There’s only so much we can do with diet and exercise. Accepting that is probably one of the keys to a happy life.

There’s a lot more that I already wrote but you didn’t read past the first sentence. Go back and read it.

You are so right! Genetics. My grandmother died of colon cancer at age 83, my other grandmom died of stomach cancer at almost that age. I have had 3 colonoscopies and so far, at age 70, I am clear but I will not stop paying attention.

I believe it is important to supplement our food to ensure our bodies have the nutrition required to remain healthy.
Seriously - just eat FOOD. That’s what it’s there for. To EAT.

...That girl does not look healthy...
You ain't kidding! That gal needs about six-months of a Wendy's Double every day, and a milkshake each night before bed to put some *meat* on those pitiful little scrawny bones!

Very few people really need nutritional supplements, certainly not in the affluent west. The main problem we have is eating too much of everything, not not enough of a few things.
There are special circumstances that justify supplements - pregnancy, consciously heavily dieting, definitive medical advice and so on. Really though, most people quite unconsciously include all they need in their day to day eating habits (whatever they may be).
