John Boehner Must Go

What I’m hearing all over the news is that the “leaders” of the Democrat Party are claiming victory and the Republican Party “leaders” are claiming victory in last week’s short term budget battle.

The fact is that they are both right. They both won. The only losers in this deal are the American people and the Republic for which we stand.

In the short run it was a great achievement for ambitious politicians who fantasize about their place in history. In the long run it will not matter what they did because the way things are going, someone else, Communist China most likely, will be writing the history books; so posterity will scarcely know who they were.

I hear some of the posers on the right as they attempt to put some lipstick on this pig but the more I ruminate on the matter, the more disgusted I become.

I’m tired of being... (continued)

Amen.

This was already lost when Boehner was selected as Speaker.

He a compromising survivor, not an ideological leader. And, I repeat, he has so many scandalous skeletons in his DC closet, that he is susceptible to Democrat "blackmail." Bit of a social butterfly, our Johnny. Been known to have the drink taken, and quite the gallant with the fair sex.

The guy is no good. His highest and best use was as a backbench wheeler-dealer with a vote for sale: great lobbyist material, lousy legislator.

Come on folks! Just who do you want in charge? He has done a decent job so far against 2/3rds of the government. What do you expect under the circumstances?

Sorry, but you are just being against any advances. He has done a great job against 2/3rds of the opposition.

Just what did you expect? (or hope for?)

Damn...just where are you anyway? He has forced the Congress to actually decrease spending for the first time in my history... - the first in a decade or more, what do you want anyway? Maybe a trillion decrease in spending - good luck with that.

Get with some minimal decreases to start with with ever increasing decreases in the future... at least it is going in the right direction!

Balls. These are the same kinds of lame excuses we heard from the RINOS when we had all 3 branches. The precedent has been set. No balls.

I guess you would be right if we ignored the fact that Boehner's branch which he leads is 100% of the spending bills and taxing authority under the US Constitution.

When you consider that, Boehner appears very weak. He has to go.

Actually, you may be right! We really have to decrease our spending by much more to sustain our credit rating.

The problem is that this Congress (Senate - President) do NOT understand that we are in dire straits...

So, the only thing that we can do is to limit what we can and hope for both a Senate vote and a Presidential vote to get total control. Only then will we be able to save the country...

Actually, the only hope for the country is for the election of Senators and a President that cares... Good luck with our current ignorant electorate...
