Here you go.....posted for you...LOL
OUTSTANDING! Thank You!
Oh my dear Lord. Absolute perfection. Tears.
Profoundly beautiful. Some people can’t find the presence of God anywhere. I find it all over the place. A performance like this by an angel like her - how can you hear that and still not know God exists?
That was a very special and moving treat. Thank you for sharing it with us. That was something.
"Il Silenzio," based on the bugle call "Taps," was a huge hit for Nini Rosso throughout Europe in the fall of 1965, but it never charted in the US.
Halfway through the song, one can hear a male voice saying, "Buona notte amore, ti rivedrò nei miei sogni. Buona notte a te che sei lontano" (good night, my love. I'll see you in my dreams. Good night to you, so far away).
Nini Rosso's original hit is available here.
Thank you, 2A Mama! One of these days, I’m going to learn how to do that-—or not......LOL!
Thanks for posting the Nini Rosso version—it too, is beautiful.
