Boehner on Cutting $100 Billion in Discretionary Spending Next Week:
"The American people have directed us to cut spending. We will. And theres no limit to the amount were willing to cut to help get our economy moving again. Let me be very clear about this: we are going to exceed our Pledge to America. We are going to cut $100 billion in discretionary spending next week. Write it down. $100 billion in discretionary spending. And we arent going to stop there."

Sorry, but you are wrong on that one. The Republicans have all the power they need. They control Congress and the purse strings that come with it.
They could have shut the government down and not worry about what they think Americans think, they could have gotten everything they wanted.
The Debt Cieling will be the big test. If they stand strong and dont make a deal to increase the debt limit, it is game over for spending.
But I assume that all the seniors, women and children that will be affected according to the Dems will be more than enough to allow the Republicans to give in.....
I CONCUR WITH THESE FEELINGS. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO CUT OFF OUR NOSE TO SPITE OUR FACE.
WE NEED TO BE MORE VOCAL WITH ALL OUR REPRESENTATIVES, AND SENATORS, MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD. DUMPIONG THE WHOLE THING IS NOT LIKELY TO HAPPEN OR WORK. IT TAKES SOME KNOWLEDGE, AND IF NONE OF THEM HAVE ANY WE ARE SHOT IN THE FOOT AGAIN.
We have turned away from God as a people and it is destroying us as a nation. Wise up. God is displeased.
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (King James Version)
” 13.If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14.If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

If we continue down this ungodly path in America ... we will likely fall. We are bringing it on ourselves.
In history it is always this way. We seem to be unbelievers ... and thus are doomed. Now or in the life to come.
Someone needs to seriousl ‘primary’ this guy..
Support for what? He broke ANOTHER promise, an important, core value kind of promise.
The party needs to turn its back on gutless losers like Boehner. What he did today was positively anti-American.
As far as I’m concerned, letting Planned Parenthood get funded, with a promise of a separate bill that he KNOWS will never be passed, is the bottom line.
Boehner is finished. He must be removed from the Speakership. Everything he has done so far has been business as usual.
That is what ‘worked’ before. Which is why they keep doing it. Their way has ‘worked’. We are too ready to make and keep the peace. MO
Time will tell whether it is a good idea of reality or a inaccurate one.
I pray I am wrong, cause this is a bleak view ahead of America...
And we are the hope of the world!
God help us in this day, guide us, teach us, in Jesus name, amen.
The crybaby LIED!
Add up the final cut with what was cut in each of the temporary measures. It might surprise you.
AVOID a rush to judgment.
Boehner is completely useless. What a joke.
He got exactly half of what he said he would get.
No he didn’t...he got 38% of what he PROMISED>
The pubbies need to properly package responsible spending. They should use a percentage of the budget to identify their cuts. Then identify the hardship in relation to a family hardship. So let’s cut 15% of the budget this year not any increase, 15% of last years budget. Any family in this country could withstand that without any lowering in the standard of living. Make this the core of your argument. Additionally, empower federal employees and managers to make process improvements. Reward them with say 15% of what they save. In other words...manage like businesses manage. Keep it up until the budget is balanced.
In my opinion, Boehner acted gutless. Boehner should have appeared on national TV and told the American people what Dingy and the Wannabe Dictator were up to. He let Dingy play political games. We need to face the reality that there is a severe shortage of testosterone in our Congress. How about doing what is right for your country and forget getting re-elected. Calling Col. Allen West, a man with the spine and guts to do the job the eunuchs are incapable of!
Thank God we have troops who know who our enemies are. The American people are too stupid to realize they’re facing enemies within including the MSM.
Don’t show us this. Don’t. It is too depressing.
God, mercy ... we have no one with backbone and integrity fighting for us, FOR OUR PROSPERITY, any more!
Boehner is a lying sack of crap. Chief rino-Kabuki dancer.
Famous last words from Tammy Faye. He went from that speech to “Thats all we could get out of them” last night.
If you think you are ticked off now wait a couple of weeks til he leads the retreat on raising the debt ceiling. I’m hold my last gasket to blow for that one. After that I’m getting out my Trump 2012 sticker.
I think Boehner was looking out for our troops. With zero publicly stating he would veto the bill and not pay our troops, I think John did what he had to do. Let this sham fall on the POS in the WH, and let his words come back to haunt him. John looks like the good and compassionate guy in this.
Its so easy to be an armchair quarterback on forums, but, none of us know exactly what goes on in DC.
I prefer that our troops get paid, and that they take up a bigger fight in the days ahead.
Zero is on record saying he wouldn’t pay our military. That’s a wonderful 2012 campaign ad, as far as I’m concerned. Let the people see for themselves who the true patriot and compassionates are. And, it isn’t the DEM party
