Your statement is ignorant of the law and void of all logic. Go read it. Title 8 Section 1401 mentions nothing about needing both parents.

Section 8 covers citizens that have their citizenship by legal code.
Natural Born citizens need no legal code, they are citizens by birth to parents that were American citizens.
