Hey, General Petraeus, OF COURSE It Is, "hateful, intolerant and disrespectful?"...

Hey, General Petraeus, OF COURSE it is, “…hateful,… intolerant and…extremely disrespectful,” to burn the koran. That’s the point!

They want us to be cowed by their religion, forced to be told what we can or can’t do, because of their death-cult religion. They have been extorting the world with their terror, because of that book!

Is it burning one book that is responsible for the innocent deaths of hundreds of thousands of muslims and infidels worldwide? OR, 26% of the muslims IN THIS COUNTRY who follow that book thinking suicide bombings are legitimate? OR, filthy pedophile following imams preaching from that book around the world calling for the death of infidels and the destruction of the state of Israel?

What year did he burn it? It seems they have been killing us, and bombing us, since before the patriot Pastor Jones was born…did they know he would grow to know their heart and start preemptive killings?

Instead of standing up and saying:

"In a free society on one day you can have a legal KKK protest, another day a gay pride parade, another day a church can mount anti-gay protests at military funerals."

“In a free society, you get to express your beliefs, and your neighbor, if he so pleases, can come out and protest. If muslims in America want to protest, they can band together and march, block streets, carry signs and shout slogans. Americans may disagree with them, but God help anyone trying to stop them from peacefully protesting! Both those that agree and disagree with them will come to their aide!

“That is a representative democracy. We are free to insult and be insulted without resorting to violence.”

“The dialogue created at the protests, the civil discourse surrounding peaceful protests, leads to new ideas, new insights for people. Seeing the other side, and passionately debating your ideas, hones ones beliefs, and adds to ones life experiences. Freedom is a beautiful thing.”

“What the fanatics in your religion are doing by killing non-believers or anyone doing anything they disagree with, shows the civilized world you are not to be taken seriously, that you, and your cult of death religion, are not ready for integration, at the very least, and deserve annihilation as the logical result of your vicious, deranged actions.”

“We ARE “hateful” towards the actions and persons killing innocents and hiding behind that book! We ARE “intolerant”, only in that we will not tolerate your barbarity in the name of your religion any longer! We ARE “extremely disrespectful” of any cult stealing the life and freedom of people because they “insult” you!”

“We also ARE ready to help you advance to the 21st century or fight you in every corner of the world, until you retreat back to your seventh-century cesspool.”

THAT is what Americas representatives should be saying…it certainly is what Americans are thinking!

The Psychopath’s Argument: Free Speech Kills People

by Dr. Nicolai Sennels

“But she’s asking for it! She knows I’ll beat her if she says things like that. And still she says it — it’s like she’s begging me to hit her!”

This is the typical psychopathic husband’s explanation for domestic violence, and as an experienced psychologist I can smell this kind of sick logic from miles away. Unfortunately, far too often this is also the explanation given by the media, politicians, and not least violent Muslims when they explain the Islamists’ aggressive reactions to cartoons and Quran-burnings. We are even responsible when Muslims run amok and commit terror after we create art or satire based on their prophet and religion. Either we cease to tease and criticize, or we must accept the consequences.

Jyllands-Posten and Kurt Westergaard have been held responsible for more than a hundred deaths — often trampled by their fellow Muslims — in the wake of the publication of the famous Mohammed cartoons. The same accusations now hit Terry Jones and his minister colleague Wayne Sapp, as eleven UN staff in Afghanistan were killed by Muslims in response to Jones’ and Sapp’s Quran-burning event. Several of the UN staff were beheaded.

But drawings and Quran burnings do not kill. They do not trample people to death and they do not chop their heads off. Only people do such things.

“The General has dedicated his life to that and doesn’t deserve to have his integrity questioned by someone because he’s trying to protect his troops and win a war.”

Exactly.

I still think it’s the duty of every freeper on this board to go buy a Koran from your local thrift store, go take an ounce of gasoline, and burn the sucker while filming it with your cell phone camera and upload it to one of the video services. Why should a single preacher take the heat for this? Burn them all, help out small businesses and charities, and end this stupidity for once and for all.

It is easy to condemn one man, to make him into a martyr for the political correctness of this insanity. Condemning a movement, General, is far harder. We are burning pieces of paper, they are ending lives. Seems to me that the moral equation that you’re operating under is entirely upside down.

And it seems like it’s up to us to right the error.

Using this logic, then the replaying contstantly of the Rodney King beating tape on CNN over there should calm everyone down.

Mostly it is just stupid.

Does anyone really believe Christ would recommend doing any such insane thing?

Of course, the cowardly phony Christian minister has nothing to lose by his lunatic stunts. He should be prosecuted for endangering our soldiers without reason.

If I am not mistaken Pershing established good relations with the Moro chieftains by playing chess with them. They were fanatics about chess oddly enough.

This phony minister should be charged with endangering our soldiers without reason.

So you support stupid stunts which accomplish nothing other than endangering our fighters? Smart real smart. Fortunately Freepers won’t go along with such stupidity. And burning that paper definitely endangers lives.

You would be better off reading the gd book so you can point by point point out its insanity rather than using it to endanger our people and make their jobs infinitely more difficult.

They also rioted over a cartoon in a newspaper, should we censor the press also to appease the Muzzies, what about online forums, such as Free Republic?

Heaven forbid if the lunatics over there read the posts here.

Does anyone really believe Christ would recommend doing any such insane thing?

Like taking a whip to the backs of the merchants in the Temple? As in declaring the religious leaders in Jerusalem reprobates doomed to Hell? As in having the Temple destroyed in 70AD? As in returning in judgment soon to condemn all nations and consume the earth in fire?

Apparently you reject and criticize God for telling Elijah to taunt and harass the priests of Ba'al during that challenge concerning calling down fire from heaven. It didn't work out too well for the Priests. Elijah officiated their slaughter, after God send down fire and consumed the altar.

You probably think that God had absolutely nothing to do with Samson's exploits, that also involved burning down their fields and structures, that was nothing but mockery to the religious systems of his day.

And poor Moses, I am sure, according to you, God was upset that Moses repeatedly humiliated the Pharaoh's magicians, and then was over the top in the Ten Plagues, many of them directly related to mocking their objects of worship.

Then we have Daniel's compatriots who refused to bow the knee to a foreign god or eat the pagan meat and when tossed into the fiery furnace, a number of the guards who gleefully tossed them into the hyper-heated furnace were consumed by the heat.

Then we have the mother of all burning things when God send down fire and consumed Sodom and Gomorrah.

David was in on the act too:

1 Chron 14:11-12 "God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water." Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim. And when they left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

But Josiah wanted to take it to the next level:

2 Chron 34:3-7 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his father David; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the wooden images, the carved images, and the molded images. They broke down the altars of the Baals in his presence, and the incense altars which were above them he cut down; and the wooden images, the carved images, and the molded images he broke in pieces, and made dust of them and scattered it on the graves of those who had sacrificed to them. He also burned the bones of the priests on their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. And so he did in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, as far as Naphtali and all around, with axes. When he had broken down the altars and the wooden images, had beaten the carved images into powder, and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.

God seems to have absolutely no problems torching pagan relics, burning down idols or mocking demonic religious systems. All wicked things will be burned in the Lake of Fire

So burning a Koran is supposed to offend God? Are YOU insane? Please, don't pretend you have any knowledge of God or Christianity - its embarrassing to watch you fumble around in something you obviously know nothing about.

This simple idea seems to have escaped the graps of most of our “leaders”. Any idea that seems “exclusive” seems to be hateful and bigoted and banable (is that a real word?).

Anyway, I don't care, I WANT to be excluded from a whole lot of people, and I am perfectly willing to “exclude” them.

I believe in judging people by mystandards (which I hope are also God's) not those of whatever pesthole (including a lot of high priced neighborhoods in this country) that they crawled out of.

Muslims from Afghanistan. Pakistan to Africa have been burning Christian churches and killing Christians for years. That was without anyone burning a Koran. These a$$wipes don't need an excuse to kill it is in the religion, culture and blood.

The General simply doesn't understand Americans or Moslems.

At his age it's probably too late for him to learn.

Now, regarding Islam, it has a substantial percentage of members (about 99%) who refuse to join in with the rest of us concerning "tolerance". In fact, they are killing people for burning their little woodpulp idols.

Best bet with these guys is to KEEP THEM OUT OF THE WEST.
