Were familiar with the war on Christmas, but what about the war on Easter? It looks like its starting.
An Ohio town has decided that the local East egg hunt is just too exclusive, and decided to rename this weekends seasonal event to The Spring Egg Hunt. Doesnt quite have the same ring, does it?
The controversy in Munson Township centers around the event being sponsored by taxpayers. A private sponsor has come forward, however, and is now offering to foot the bill:

More of that leftwing “multicultural” and “diversity” bull****! Anything goes and is okay as long as America and Christianity are omitted.
Why not the RESURRECTION SUNDAY Bible Hunt!?
It’s just a pagan fertility rite anyway!
It’s amazing how the resurection of Jesus can be spit upon like this. With a muslim in our White House and with his overweight wife hiding wooden eggs on our White House lawn and with her reading from secular bunny books instead of the Holy Gospels, I’m not surprised.
May God forgive us!
Foolish fools, I would love to see the look on their faces when they come before the “Living Lord of the Universe”, aka God!
Why not get this pc crap over with and make a new rule that whenever a kid finds an egg, he/she bows down towards mecca.
After all, what does Easter have to do with an egg? /MS
They need to change the name of the town to Smith Township. Munson is too exclusive!
have no fear. They will all find out when it is said and done that they will have no vote when our Mighty Lord comes as Just Judge. God will have no mercy on those that have denied His Son. They will be plenty surprised when the time comes and will realize at the last inkling that we who have loved Him were right.
Yet another town apparently full of pinheaded multiculturalists. Yet another town to avoid.
Why not a Corporate welfare egg hunt..
This year could have Westinghouse as the sponsor..
-OR- maybe AARP.. or the AFL-CIO... or NPR.. or various lawyer organizations..
In my community many years ago it was changed to Bunny in the Park.
Well, why not an ‘Ishtar Hunt’ instead? The egg thing is simply Romanized window dressing of pagan fertility rites.
Can’t have this!! It offends the Muslims!
Westinghouse? Your going back a-ways, aren’t you?
What about May Day? Communists used to love that one.
In my neighborhood we are part of an HOA and couple years back at a meeting they were discussing the annual Easter Egg hunt and one of the members of the Board suggested we just call it an egg hunt-let’s just say we all nipped that in the bud the guy was shocked he got push back from the meeting members
One day God will turn His back on the people who did all they could to remove anything about Him from normal life.
HA! Pagans knocking a pagan holiday. Love it.
Don't get me wrong; I like the tradition, I participated in it as a kid, I think that it is a fun way to introduce children to the Holy Day, ... and I still love Peeps. But, upon first reading the headline, I thought that the decision might have been made by Christians seeking a return to more conscientious worship of the Risen Christ on that Day, rather than bowing to the Altar of the Cadburry Bunny.
