Donald Trump: Bill Ayers Wrote Obama's Book

Donald Trump isn’t content with questioning Obama’s citizenship—now he’s questioning his authorial accomplishments, too. In an interview with Laura Ingraham yesterday, Trump espoused the theory that Bill Ayers wrote Obama’s memoir, Dreams of My Father, Aol News reports. Obama is only the president “because he wrote a book that is supposed to be a great genius book,” Trump said. “But now it’s coming out that Bill Ayers wrote it.”

Trump’s repeating a rumor that’s been circling in right-wing media. Ayers himself said that he had written the book at a speaking appearance last week, though as Allahpundit at the conservative blog Hot Air notes, it sounded a lot like he was being sarcastic. “Would you believe that I wrote it?” he said when asked about the book. “And if you can help me prove it, I’ll split the royalties.” At that the audience burst out laughing. Ayers has reportedly used the line, complete with the royalties punch line, in the past as well.

I'd love to have the Pepto-Bismol, cigarette and anti-depressants concession at the White House.

That’s the premise of Jack Cashill’s book Deconstructing Obama. He proves by textual analysis that Ayers ghost-wrote Dreams From My Father, while O’s speechwriter penned the other book (a common enough practice among politicians).

That the terrorist snake Ayers denies it only makes it more believable.

We’ve been saying this stuff for years.

But it requires a newsmaker to get stuff out there, and Trump is very media savvy.

It does help that its true.

This is great.

I’m very interested in what Trump does to keep abreast of this and other subjects. What are his sources of information? How much background reading does he do?

The reason I ask is because he’s got a big huge target on his chest now. The entire commie universe is going to be gunning for him.

He better know his material cold.

I would feel MUCH better if I knew he was keeping up with what is posted on these subjects here in FR.

Though not a gambler, I would bet Donald Trump
follows FR through, at least, due diligence.

Bill O’Reilly had part of his interview with Trump last night but said there would be some really good stuff tonight—maybe this was among the things Trump said to him.

He may yet goad the media into doing the reporting they’ve thus far refused to do on The 0ne 0bama.

I might vote for the Donald at least he isn't afraid to speak the truth about the birth certificate, Obama being a Muslim and Bill Ayers writing his book, that is more than any candidate will go.

They have to mention the birth accusations and theories every time they go about "refudiating" what he says. He's playing chess and they're playing checkers. Between him, Governor Palin, Mr. Cain, Rep. Bachmann and Libya, they're not having a good month.

what speaking engagement was Ayers at last week? ‘cause he’s was in Lebanon on March 17th preaching that elections in the USA should be voted on by everyone in a nation that hosted an American military base, to paraphrase, ‘imagine hundreds of millions of people.... electing the American president....” and arguing against the American two-party political system and working ‘outside the party...with civil disobedience...and unruliness....”
