As I was skimming posts on here, I noticed the many complaints about blog pimps. My own blog is not at all political, so breathe a sigh of relief, you won't see me posting any articles on here from it. :)
But, sometimes when I get a down moment, I like to see what others have written.
So, if you have a blog, feel free to post your link and what it's about here.
Are they any good?
Mine don’t sedate me but they don’t *work*, either.
Sedate was really the wrong word to use. I was prescribed 10 mg. Lortab and they make me goofy as all getouts! They darn sure help on the pain though.
Hmmm...title of my next novel:
"The Long Knives of Sallegroldladeo"
(I know, I'm getty goofy again.)
Okay, now you have me by the throat. Why are you on pain meds? Whatever’s wrong, I hope that you recover soon and don’t have to take them for long.
We’re opposites. I have a high drug-and-alcohol tolerance. They wear off very fast. During the surgeries I’ve had, it has really frustrated the doctors and the anesthetists, not to forget the recovery room nurses who assume that everybody’s still out of it. The stuff I’ve heard! But I did learn to keep my mouth shut and act as if I were still asleep.
;-)
I like beef heart (when we were young and stupid, we called them bee farts), but not raw. How about liver? Does he like that raw too? It’s even bloodier though.
Well, Bryan was born in England... and um... never mind.
Now, I really like that one. The long knives of... That's great. My latest tagline, now that I've become a tagline ho.
I do too. Thanks to 50mm for the graphic.
I’m already goofy as hell so nobody would know the difference...:)
/makes note of medicine...LOL
Twisted my right ankle. I'll be fine. Thanks for your concern. Dang thing is black and blue and the size of a softball.
The biggest problem is that I'm not allowed at work without steel-toed boots. Impossible to get that on. How can I help support Free Republic if I can't work? This sucks! lol

Not good. Must be rough on you when injured.

Oh, thank God.
I thought I’d had a stroke and couldn’t read long words anymore.
Ouch. Prayers up for your swift and complete recovery.
The good Lord has blessed me with high pain tolerance too, but I don’t like taking drugs anyway.
He loves liver but ya gotta be careful with it.
You can OD a dog on Vitamin A feeding too much at once.
Usually the liver goes in with something else like boiled chicken or ground round.
Gives it a “flavor kick” they really love.
[sheesh...I swear he can “hear” what I’m typing...he’s pushing his food bowl around and nudging my leg, now...freakin’ bottomless pit Dobe]
You’re about the sharpest “goofy” gal I know.
Here’s hoping that you can find something that works better to ease your aches and pains.
Argh!
It sounds like a yodel.
Awww, what a sweetie! He’s still a growing boy. No wonder you’re broke, what with his eating you out of house and home. Meat’s expensive.
That it does. Reminds me of my late mother-in-law, a sweet Swiss lady who could yodel with the best of ‘em.
I’d like about a gallon of Beefeater gin for the pain but I can’t tolerate alcohol...it makes me nauseous.....LOL
