The GOP doesn’t have to run them.
This is Quinnepac and I can tell you that unless they polled in a college town the results shoud be much worse than this.I seldom hear Obama’s name not preceeded by some expletive!
So did I. I do, however, skim their headlines online, on my way to the obits.
When I saw the headline, I had to see who took the poll. No surprize to find it was Quinnipiac, making it leftist propaganda, not news.
It is a registered voter poll.
“The GOP doesnt have to run them.”
Excellent point. Thanks, that makes me feel a little better.
So why did the Democrats pick Charlotte for the national convention in ‘12? I think Cleveland would had been the better pick.
They needed a state with a Democratic governor. You never want to hold a convention in a State that has a governor from the opposite political party for many reasons — one of which is security. For example, every Governor controls the National Guard — if there are problems, a Governor of your party can re-establish control, whereas a Governor of the opposite party can let matters get out of hand.
The other option for the RATS was St. Louis, but it is rumored that Claire McCaskill did NOT want the convention in Missouri (which also has a RAT governor, by the way).
Charlotte is a stupid political decision by the RATS, and it shows how truly vulnerable this Empty Suit is.
