Which one has less lipstick on? (Palin or Pawlenty?)

Comparing Tim Pawlenty’s cover and Governor Palin’s, you can’t help but notice the similarities. Courage to Stand was released over a year after the governor released Going Rogue. Let’s see how the two match up:

Are Palin supporters going to be this petty and obnoxious towards everyone who announces for 2012?

Lame attacks on other candidates diminishes your cause rather than enhancing it. .... Tread EZ

Tell that to the other potential GOP candidates whose operatives have been attacking Palin night and day for over a year now, on this board and elsewhere .... Virginia Ridgerunner

"Operatives on this board"?

So everybody that does not share your infatuation with Sarah Palin on Free Republic is now an "operative" or has "PDS"?

Is that the same as, when anybody disagrees with a "Progressive", that automatically makes him a "Fascist"?

When Tread EZ says "lame attack", it means attacks that are at the 4th Grade schoolyard taunt level without any redeeming political or substantive value whatsoever:

"Look at the photo on the book cover. It makes him look like he has lipstick on. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Let's make a gay joke about him. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck."

When was the last time that ANYBODY on Free Republic has taken a cheap shot at Sarah Palin's physical appearance? Ever?

That childishness is totally different than pointing out the extremely serious flaws that Sarah Palin would have as the Republican Presidential nominee.

FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)

Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.

Sarah Palin:

.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of

ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%

Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%

Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%

Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%

Fight fire with fire.

By making childish taunts about the physical appearance of a Republican candidate on Free Republic?

That is truly pathetic.

You would have had a field day with Abraham Lincoln:

Lincoln's voice was, when he first began speaking, shrill, squeaking, piping, unpleasant; his general look, his form, his pose, the color of his flesh, wrinkled and dry, his sensitiveness, and his momentary diffidence, everything seemed to be against him ... -- William H. Herndon letter, July 19, 1887

Great way to win over the skeptics. Pretty disgusting insinuation. If it were aimed at Sarah, you would be zotted.

Pissant did aim such an insinuation at Sarah Palin and he was zotted.

I guess you must have missed some of pissant's vilest posts.

By making childish taunts about the physical appearance of a Republican candidate on Free Republic?

You must be mistaking me for somebody that gives a s**t about the Republican Party and its other potential RINO candidates at this point, after all the backstabbing that has gone on for the past two and a half years.

You actually believe that all the POTUS RINO wannabes don't have online astroturfing operations, just like Obama?

How naive you are.

I saw this over at C4P. I hope SP puts the squash on this silliness.

Pawlenty is on our side (who could be a Veep). Don’t waste bandwidth on friendly fire.

You have lost your senses. I don’t approve of what Pissant said, but come on, that picture was from ‘Deliverance’ right before one of the vilest rape scenes on film. And this is OK? Pawlenty is a good man, he is not the enemy, well, except to you Palinistas.

Bottom line, most comments about Palin have to do with issues. The comments here and on the link make you supporters look like childish idiots. Is that what you want?
Friend, your dedication to Palin is, in a word...unhealthy. Go eat a Scooby Snack and chill.

Pawlenty is a good man, he is not the enemy, well, except to you Palinistas.

Hmmmm...here's a reminder of what kind of backstabbing RINO loser Pawlenty really is for those with short memories:

Pawlenty Maneuvers With Governors and Press At GOP Governors Conference

“Another Republican governor eyeing a presidential run in 2012 told CNN the event [Palin’s press conference] was ‘odd’ and ‘weird,’ and said it "unfortunately sent a message that she was the de facto leader of the party."

(snip)

The “Republican governor eyeing a presidential run in 2012” appears to be Minnesota’s Tim Pawlenty. Pawlenty used his time at yesterday’s roundtable discussion to cast himself as the “modern” Republican while casting aspersions on the traditional conservative message, calling for outreach to the “new demographics,” deriding the GOP for allegedly being 15 years behind in the use of the Internet, and calling for the party not to be led by “a crank.” Pawlenty appears to have John McCain’s penchant for attacking conservatives rather than those in the other party.

Pawlenty in Miami was publicly angry, agitated, and even cranky, possibly because he found himself at odds with the far more conservative tone of every other speaker here. Hundreds of RGA members, who paid thousands of dollars to attend this Conference, wildly applauded “red meat” conservative pronouncements by speakers and not the more moderate and conservative-jabbing words by Pawlenty. And then there’s his “Palin problem,” real or imagined, that hit the fan yesterday in front of the national media, possibly upon the insistence of Pawlenty himself, as the above-reported comments to CNN by an anonymous presidential aspirant indicate.

GOP Governors Pull the Plug On Palin's Press Conference

Pawlenty, by contrast, rejected the “return to our conservative roots” theme of others at this conference and said,“GOP principles must be harmonized with outreach to the new demographics of America,” “the GOP is fifteen years behind in the use of technology and the Internet,” “the GOP needs more than a political comb-over,” and “voters don’t want our Party led by a crank.” Unsure of to whom Pawlenty was referring in that last comment, there were some gasps from the crowd.

If Palin runs, you are going to be terribly disappointed in her along the way, because she will say things and do things to get votes. And she would most likely pick a running mate that you won’t like. Because you only like her.

Fight fire with fire.

You should TP Pawlenty's house & then incessantly phone him & when he answers, hang up! That'll sure show 'em!

Grow the feck up.

I agree with both of your sentiments. We can’t build Sarah Palin up by tearing others down. I’m getting a bit disgusted with Palin supporters who cannot control their petty, small-minded emotions. Sarah Palin deserves better.

If I were in charge over at C4P, I would have held my fire for now on articles like this, but anybody who thinks Pawlenty is any different than the other slimey politicians who have attacked Palin relentlessly for over 2 years has blinders on.

Pawlenty has inferred (publicly but no cameras rolling) on 2 separate occasions that Palin is a “crank” — at the RGA meeting with Palin in attendance in Nov., 2008 and in a speech at the Aspen Institute in July, 2009.

Conservative blogger and Human Events contributor R. S. McCain called Pawlenty a “scumbag” for his ‘crank’ remarks. Bill Kristol (on the same panel discussion with Pawlenty at the time) reported the room full of governors and other distinguished attendees at the RGA meeting “gasped” at his remarks.

When directly asked about Palin being accused of accessory to murder in Tucson, Pawlenty refused to defend her for the outrageous accusations. At the same time he called out her use of the “crosshairs.”

Having said all this, I think this kind of article at C4P needs to be shelved until the primary race starts — if she runs — and she sees how she is going to be treated by these guys. I suspect they’ll keep on trashing her and sticking the knife in her back — just like they’ve been doing since Nov., 2008. Will those who are attacking Palin’s supporters here defend her at that time? LMAO...that’ll be the day.

C4P — pull the article.

Great stuff from those smart and sophisticated Palin supporters from the blogsite:

“from the looks of his book cover, i’d guess tpaw’s about a 36B.”

“I think he’s got a subtle and delicate make up style. His base is not too heavy and the lipstick matches his eyes. I think he looks graceful and stylish.”

“Nice shirt. Fight like a girl.”

I can only imagine the outrage on FR if these type of lowdown comments were made about Palin. This is why she won’t win, because she will never reach beyond this type of snarky voter.

Hate to break it to you, bub, but these types of comments are made regularly by the PDS wrecking crew.

Seems to me that PDS'ers love to dish it out against Palin, but can't take it when the ridicule is (finally) hurled right back at their RINO favorites (like Pawlenty).
