It's probably a bad sign when you're starting to be called "President Present" and it doesn't mean that your being president is a present to the country...
Obama advisers are spinning their excuses for the president's absence (he needs to stay above the fray, he believes in international agreement). Conservatives, for their part, are beginning to argue the "incompetence" line. A combination of all is probably at work, along with an even greater impulse: political safety. Mr. Obama got a taste of falling approval ratings last year. The White House has worked hard to get those numbers back up and wants to keep them there until Mr. Obama has a GOP opponent and can go into campaign modewhere he's at his best.
See more at The Wall Street Journal
Why does this guy even want to be president?
Other than a record of indecision what can he possibly run on? ObamaCare? The "stimulus?" The only concrete decisions he has made to date came when he had congressional majorities that were lost because of those decisions.
How about that for change?
So now the strategy is to do NOTHING until it's campaign time? Why? So he can tell voters to vote for him over the other guy if they want more of:
Hmm...now that I've listed it out, you really do get a lot more than it seems. At first I thought Obama was like a bag of potato chips, with more air than chips. Now I see that he's more like a Taco Bell burrito, it doesn't look like you're getting much until they wrap it up and you bite in to it and get a surprise overloaded mouthful of bottom-scraped refried beans. (Also, eating potato chips doesn't give you diarrhea)
That's the Obama Administration in a tortilla shell...
I hope his campaign staff has a dictionary on hand when his GOP opponent mentions words like deficit, and terrorism, and leadership.
That's REALLY important, because when the campaigns sit down to hammer out the terms of the debates I really don't think the theme of any of them will involve NCAA brackets.
Obama is on perpetual vacation. This trip to “discuss jobs” is but another example. Even when he is in the Oval office he seems to be “on holiday”
I truly believe he is scared to death of his responsibilites as president. He is incapable of making and/or sticking with a decision. He surrounds himself with idiots to mask the fact that he is the biggest idiot of them all. That way he can blame his failures on others.
So when things get a little to hot, what does he do? He takes off on another one of his “trips”.
He is the most spineless, indecisive, and utterly clueless president our country has ever had. I never thought I would say we would ever have a president that made Carter look like mensa material.
Following this Presidency would be easier than following the Presidency of Ronald Reagan.
I like calling him [sports analyst Obama].
In brackets.
The American Left knew he was a vacation-loving flim-flam when he was senator in Il. And now they know him as one in the WH.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
He’s only interested in implementing his Marxixt agenda. He has no patience for the “other stuff” and no ability to deal with it.
Now that is something we can truly thank him for.
HA! That’s a really good point!
Your right!
“Why does this guy even want to be president?”
His mission is to destroy America. It will probably take a little over 4 years so he needs another term. I think we should give him one. A prison term.
Herds of buffalo have one lead cow, sled teams have one lead dog. The US has has someone occupying the position of President but at this time there is no one who is the Leader.
The deal promised to him, by the powers behind him, is that his job would be a simple one. Not to worry. Teleprompter would make him look presidential.
Lots of golf, plenty of vacations, music and Hollywood celebrities joining him for parties and extravagant dinners at the White House were the package deal.
All he had to do was stand between the Greek pillars, and be an American Idol. His half black skin would protect him from all criticism.
No, he’s no President, and I don’t think he ever expected to be. He is just a facade for the powers that are backing him. I guess they thought we are so dumbed down, we wouldn’t know the difference.
Bwah.
Absolutely on the money.
"Beginning"? Conservatives have been doing that since before he was elected!
Uh, sadly they were not too far off the mark. Color me depressed and disgusted.
I’d like to see just “Brackets” to refer to him. If we’re able to make it stick and spread, it would be a political disaster for him. And how very convenient, it sounds somewhat similar to Barack. Henceforth, that will be the ONLY way I refer to him. His campaign handlers would BEG to hae folks call him “Hussein.” Thanks.
I like it!
