Yeah, a real coalition-builder.
The question is whether conservatives want emotional gratification or political victory on the critical issues facing this country. Rants may make us feel good, but the reality is that they alienate some voters who otherwise might be persuadable. All the heartfelt outrage and anger won't matter one bit if we can't get a majority of electoral votes in the next election, and gain control of both houses of Congress.
That's not to say that we need to alter our positions on the issues, because electing someone who will enact RINO policies is no better than losing. But it should at least remind us that we need to elect the most conservative politicians who can also garner enough votes among non-conservatives to win. And sometimes, that's less a matter of what you say than how you say it.
Seems to me that Bobby is smacking the elites, who are not persuadable anyway. Again, I ask, who is more deserving of the nomination than Sarah, among those with a realistic shot? Bob
BULL!!!! You advocate the problem that got us here -- SPINELESS leadership from the rear premised upon what others think...
How will you determine how to offend the least amount -polling? Is truth based upon majority rule?
Get a clue!
Actually, electing someone who will enact Democrat policies, which is what RINO's do, is WORSE than losing. The right still has to take the heat for the spending increases and deficits that are the result of more "social bankies", they then move MORE left to try and assuage the Commies further.
Emotional gratification got us here to begin with. That is, being "popular" with the elite, doing everything they can so the "elite" will like them and say nice things about them.....before they plunge the knife in their back.
Screw the big tent. We don't want or need it. We need to get America back on track and sorry if it hurts your feelings, but tough sh$t. Actually, I'm not sorry.
