Almost every day, Israel's citizens are told of more displays of hostility by you against us. Often we are informed of various boycotts imposed on Israeli goods, the cancellation of cultural events in Israel, and even attempts to boycott Israeli academia.
This past week I watched Pink Floyd's Roger Waters urging a boycott on Israel. His arguments included an embarrassing combination of charges, including the finest lies taken from al-Jazeera's propaganda. The most prominent argument was Israel's portrayal as a racist "apartheid state" that sets up a wall separating Arabs and Jews.
Now, listen to what happened Saturday. One or more terrorists infiltrated the community of Itamar, which is located beyond the protective fence. They butchered five family members with knives, including an 11-year-old child, a four-year-old boy, and a three-months-old baby girl.

The US “media” will print a small paragraph about this on the bottom of page 4 with a misleading headline (to bore you out of reading it). “Out of sight, out of mind...and never happened”, according to the “media”.
The obsession with Israel by those who know precious little or, more often, nothing about Israel and it's people and the terrors the Israeli people have endured over the past 6 decades from it's Arab/Persian neighbors is amazing. When aging rock musicians make stupid statements criticizing Israel for things that are pure fabrication, one has to ask: why? This article offers some answers; 'useful idiots' or just pure anti-Antisemitism. Israel, to put it politely, is far from being above criticism but the lies too often used as a basis for the criticism are frequently outrageous and usually supplied by Arab propaganda. Too bad Roger Waters (founding member of Pink Floyd) doesn't get that. Too bad, also, that he is certainly not alone in his ignorance.
I cannot give the list because I have not specifically compiled it, but it is easy to say that if not every then almost every Congressman who has given an antisemitic screed against Israel or Jews in general were Democrats.
Obama is a Muslim raised Kenyan who has not even attempted to conceal his antipathy toward Israel. He wrote in one of his books, “I will stand with the Muslims.” Obama is a Democrat.
Hillary had an unusual affection for Yasser Arafat's Suha and is famously photoed kissing her. In the year that Hillary was hugging Suha, hundreds of Israelis were slaughtered in the street by the PLO. Her words and deeds show clearly that while she feigns fairness, she clearly favors the Arabs and the PLO. Hillary is a Democrat.
It varies here and there a little but roughly 95% of American Jews are avid if not fanatic Democrat. The only logical conclusion is that American Jews approve of and even applaud the actions of these obviously antisemitic people.
Therefore, if the Leftists(Democrats) and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters are fundamentally antisemitic, the American Jews are equally guilty. There is no other way to see it.
I would put forward two other hypotheses. The first is that many people quite honestly do believe that Israel is a racist apartheid State, and why shouldn't they? After all, they only ever hear reports on dividing walls and checkpoints, and valiant liberal politicians breaking "blockades". They never hear about Israeli children being butchered with machetes. This is partly because the left dominates the media, but its mostly because - lets face it - the Arab/Palestine/Muslim/Hamas propoganda/publicity machine is simply much better organised and effective than its Israeli equivalent.
The second reason is more subtle, and it delves deep into the psychology of the average leftist. They think (if at all) with their hearts and not their minds. They all like to support the "underdog". They always like to side with the "oppressed" - irrespective of the rights and wrongs, the treaties and the laws, the history and the traditions. I mean, having to wade through all that lot takes time and hard work. It's much easier to just simply look and "feel". On one side you have soldiers in tanks (which they aren't using) and on the other you have poor looking civilians throwing rocks. Obviously the stone slingers are the oppressed ones! Soldiers means armies, and armies mean war, and war is bad. They are obviously "the man". To the average leftist being on the streets hurling rocks and insults at representatives of a national government sounds like a sweet ride! It probably makes most of them go all gooey just thinking about it.
I quite honestly believe that if the State of Israel had never come about, and instead Jews were a large minority fighting for self-determination in an Arab dominated palestinian State, George Galloway and co would be on the barricades with them. I really do.
The Arabs have manipulated the issue of 'Palestine' and 'Palestinians' so adroitly as to almost guarantee that the political left around the world see tiny Israel, surrounded by 350 million Arabs that are seething with hatred toward Jews as the 'oppressor' and the Palestinians' as the oppressed, which is factually absurd but alas, the reality, today. Useful idiots that parrot the Arab lies about Israel just give cover to Arab terrorists, both those on the field and in positions of authority, ceaselessly attempting to destroy Israel.

All the stats seem to hover ~70% now. However this figure represents a steady erosion in Jewish Democrats in the last decade. So, the cliche figure of 95% 90% that I frequently see was probable right at one time and just became ingrained. So, now, correctly on the low side we can say 60%.(cutting it a little)

Much, better and you were right to call me on my hyperbole and I am actually glad you did. The result while still, in mind, incomprehensible, that over 50% of any race would vote for people who demostrated hatred for them, it makes me feel a lot better as no doubt this particular 60% will soon fade away into society as they have been doing for the last decade. I do not believe this figure represents the number of Jews voting Democrat. The real figure is probably much higher. The 60% represent the Jews who still identify themselves as Jews. Just my opinion. However, I detect a logical diconnect here. The Democrats are anti-Israel. Most Jews are Democrats. Therefore most Jews are guilty of anti-semitism? Doesn't quite register. Not all democrats are anti-semitic. Jewish Democrats presumably aren't! And although your claim that most antisemitic comments originate with Democrats may be true, that is not the only thing that the Democrats stand for. For all you know, Jews may vote Democrat because they are in love with Big Government, or they are Pro Choice, or even as simply because they tend to be concentrated in liberal strongholds and if they want to be involved in Politics the Democrat party is effectively the only show in town. Perhaps the conclusion is not antisemitism but merely that American Jews are more interested in what is going on in America than what is going on in the Middle East. If that is the case I personally think that is rather short-sighted of them, but it may be so.

On reflection, I might have been indulging in a little hyperbole myself with the George Galloway being on the barricades thing. As you say, leftists tend to “fight” with words rather than deeds.
