Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin lashed out at comedian Kathy Griffin, calling her a "50-year-old adult bully," reports The Huffington Post.
Palin is ticked off that "Glee" has cast Griffin, who has been harvesting comedy gold at the expense of the Palin family for the past two years, as a Palin-like character on an upcoming episode of the Fox show. Palin told Fox News host Jeanine Pirro she considers Griffin a "has-been."
Palin was mostly concerned that Griffin would make fun of Palins children.
"Kathy, pick on me, come up to Alaska and pick on me, but leave my kids alone," she said on the Pirro show.
Get this straight, and get it straight now.
The tea party is not backing down. Not rhetorically or any other way. The communist union slobs, the jihadists and the gangbangers are no match for us. Not even close.
Maybe Palin should take the political route. That’s your position.
She could mold a public image, and base everything on polls. Great idea. She could be like Romney, Obama, or Christie.
“Maybe Palin should take the political route. Thats your position.”
Maybe she could just keep doing what she is doing and watch her poll numbers stay the same or go down. That’s your position.
Even alot of supporters on FR agree she needs to work on her image a bit.
Notwithstanding your narrow way of thinking, it’s possible to stick to your principles and still invest a reasonable amount of energy in keeping your image intact. That’s nothing like the professional politicians you named. Even Reagan was aware of this fact.
Griffin and Glee got some nice free publicity.
Didn't they though. However,it's a given that Glee is a big success, but has had its own bit of controversy with the GQ photo-shoot.
Bringing politics into Glee will not set well with those that like Glee or AI to escape from politics, 24/7. The younger audience would also rather be entertained musically by those of their own generation, identify with the butch gym teacher, the favorite "someone who understands" teacher, the teacher romance rumors and the principal who attempts to make law and keep order out of it all, than the image that Griffin is reported to portray--a persnickety Tea Party type?
Adding Griffin is like when they added Janeane Garofalo to the TV series 24, she became a real distraction.
Griffin is as far away from being cool as Urkle was to his peers.
There are issues far bigger that face All of America every day. Our politicians are wasting time in Washington because they are easily distracted by "entertainment" magazine gossip, sex scandals, petty name calling, preening publicly for the next election--and meanwhile the whole world riots around them, oil is $107 a barrel while people chant "drill baby drill", high unemployment and soldiers are fighting so Trinity Baptist Church members can continue their ugly free speech protest at a fallen soldiers funeral.
Priorities. Priorities. Priorities.
Bingo!
I’m glad my sarcasm had an effect.
I think you got the point that Sarah Palin is largely not political.
I hope you will understand the fact that gravitas is truly attained when one has the kind of support she has, and they got it by being apolitical.
Oh, Good God please — some of us are still eating breakfast. . .
“Get this straight, and get it straight now to you.”
Proove it. And I am not holding my breath because you can’t proove it and haven’t shown you can thus far. You are all a bunch of spineless wimps, have no resolve or backbone or will to save this country.
Don’t forget to say “please” and “thank you” to those who are getting the better of you folks.
It could be you’re a bit confused. What do you want me to prove?
