Politicians generally do say something when one of their children are threatened to be a verbal target by somebody in the media. Palin was asked about it and she responded.

No, you're not alone. A lot of us are sick of the leftmedia's relentless attacks against Sarah. And, of course, as long as she poses a threat to the left, they'll keep up the assault.
That said, we also know that Sarah will announce when the timing is right. I'm sure that she and her advisors have plotted the best possible strategy for her announcement.
In fact, the actual timing of her announcement may depend on fluid events. All I know, is that Sarah's political instincts are second to none. You can bet your last dollar that her announcement will be timed for maximum impact and strategic advantage.

Palin didn't bring the subject up. Palin was asked about Griffin. Griffin is a person who has threatened to verbally harass Palin's 16 year-old kid. Every politician who has even had their kids slightly mentioned in the media has defended their kids by telling the folks not to do it.
None of that crosses these folks minds.
That turn the cheek stuff doesn't work in politics, nor in fighting for this country's survival.
Indeed, the socialists bank on the idea and use it to their advantage, expecting their opponents to "remain above the fray" and "turn the other cheek" lest they be judged as violent neanderthals.
Going neanderthal may be just what is needed at this crucial time.
My ideal presidential candidate would take shiite from no man, or woman, simply wouldn't tolerate it. Aiming the vitriol at the kids would be even less tolerable.
I would put any one of SP's detractors on national tv, after their kids get threated and thrashed, and ask them to respond. The pansies would hold their noses high and tsk tsk the threat, while real people would no doubt use stronger words than SP uttered.
