My problem with the Iraq war has nothing to do with any of the prevailing reason it has to do with our like of foresight. Iraq was the counter balance to Iran in the region. We set the domino's falling and we have no way of stopping what's going on.
Iran should have been our target.

Iraq was the counter balance to Iran in the region.That had ended after the Gulf War. Iraq was a dangerous weakling by 2003. It was capable of fomenting terrorism and, of course, we thought it had WMD. But it was no match for Iran.
It was that vacuum that was part of the decision for us to go in there.
