Yeah, okay, I know.

Now let’s get out of fantasyland and get back to the business of getting our country back. President Palin has a lot to undo and only eight years to do it in.

Iowa Republicans pal up with McClatchy newspapers ?

I think we’ve discovered the problem...

What would General Patton say? My guess is he'd say something like:

God Damm it , Iowa; I've read Sarah Palin's books!"

Yeah, right. She is unelectable. She is a celebrity, not a statesman. By all means she should raise buckets of money for a conservative candidate, but she isn’t presidential material. Stick to reality TV and get rich, Sarah. Leave the serious work to a serious contender.

Let me guess, Palin is against ethanol subsidies and the federal mandate, right?

Yeah maybe they think she is unelectable, but I’ll bet if they are real conservatives they will vote for her anyway. A lot of people who plan on voting for her if she runs may think she is unelectable, but they pray that she will be elected.

Knowing McClatchy Newspapers, I'm sure the focus group was on the up-and-up (just like the NYT/CBS poll on public employee collective bargaining (which was heavily weighted in favor of Democrats and union families).

Stick to reality TV and get rich, Sarah. Leave the serious work to a serious contender.

No potential candidate was more involved in the 2010 election cycle and no potential candidate has criticized Obama more on the issues of the day.

That's what a serious contender does.

All the rest act like pretenders.

Coming soon to The Iowa Republican... a series of articles in conjunction with PETA to name Iowa’s best steakhouse.

Sure serious conservatives would vote for her over zero but that is the point. There aren’t enough serious conservatives to win anything on national level.

When you dig through the article:

The college student was too young to vote in 2008. The other five focus group members backed five different candidates in the last Iowa Caucus.

There were SIX PEOPLE sitting at a coffee shop, drinking free coffee and eating donuts, and this is a FU88888 FOCUS GROUP.

Please forgive my foul language.

GOP primary voters prefer men who avoid battles with the left, we like clean candidates that get good press.

Which is why we have a generation of cowardly Republicans in office right now.

Well, that's your opinion and obviously I have a different one. But that's all they are - opinions.

We'll only know for sure if and when Ms. Palin actually runs. The voters will decide - and then it will become fact, win or lose.

BINGO! That's all Iowa wants to know about candidates.
