Easy Chili:
1.5 lbs ground round
1 can Ranch Style beans (don’t drain)
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes, pureed in blender
1 can Rotel (Mild, Regular, or Hot - your choice)
3 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed basil
1/2 teaspoon pepper (I like Lawry’s Seasoned Pepper)
Cook ground round until done and drain.
Mix together all other ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
Excellent with cornbread that has been cooked in a skillet like pancakes and cheddar cheese.
Or Fritos and cheddar cheese.
