Yes, we know. The first Fukino news release was dated Oct. 31, just a few days PRIOR to the election and AFTER Lingle finished campaigning for Juan McCain. This news release does NOT contain any claim of where Obama born. None. Why did Lingle lie??
The second media release of July 27, 2009 was to clarify what was actually on the certificate.
The second release doesn’t say anything about what was on the certificate, but it does prove that the original certificate is insufficient to prove a place of birth. You know this. It certainly does NOT say Obama was born in Kapiolani Hospital. Why did Lingle lie??
Governor Lingle didn’t lie, at worst she misspoke, not remembering the exact wording of a news release issued a year and a half earlier and at best she provided additional information from what was actually in the media release.
Dr. Fukino’s two media releases have been enough information for the courts and obviously for the vast majority of members of Congress.
Once more time, both Governor Lingle and Dr. Fukino can be deposed and interviewed under oath at any time that such a move might be needed, Thus far, it hasn’t been which means their original statements stand until and unless they are impeached in a formal proceeding.
