Scott Brown rejects Tea Party, says its not productive to criticize Obama. When Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts was elected to serve the remainder of the term of the deceased Ted Kennedy last year, conservatives had decent hopes for him. After all, Brown nationalized his election battle by saying that he would vote against Obamacare. That pledge brought him huge support from the Tea Party, which worked hard to help him get elected. Since then, however, Brown has revealed himself to be what he truly is: a RINO Republican who does much of the Democrats bidding. With that in mind, it was no surprise to hear the senator say that he considers himself a Massachusetts Republican exclusively and not a Tea Partier by any means. He also confirmed how correct conservatives have been to criticize his performance, as he refused to criticize Barack Obama and called Obama criticism unproductive.

I’ve already decided not to vote for him again. I’m done with the “he’s the best we’re gonna get” argument. If he’s going to continue to be a senator, it will be without my help.
To all of you that voted for this idiotic moron. =.=
This guy Scott Brown isn’t too bright. He is so desperate. He is now resorting to the “Okra” tissues and tears circuit.
ugh
There were OTHER conservatives competing against the
liar and backstabber Scott Brown.
Scott Brown = Mitt Romney = Baraq Hussein obama = RomneyCARE
Once your in the good old boys club the game rules change.
Did you ever consider the possibility that with all these Republicans like McCain, Romney, Brown, etc. that maybe we conservatives are the RINOs? It might be time to for us to move on...
Scott Brown is being bought off even more by the corruption backing the seat he took over.
And some Freepers wanted him to be their latex salesman....
And why didn’t they get elected? Maybe because....it’s Massachusetts? How does his refusal to go along with personal attacks on Obama make him a backstabber? I saw that part of the interview. The guy is just not going to engage in harsh rhetoric.
If ti wasn’t for the Tea Party, he would not have won - just another pretty face he has turned out to be. Time to kick him out in 2012 (I think he is up for reelection then since this was Kennedy’s replacement).
Wrong. It is not about the State or its location.
It is about Brown having lied AFTER he was elected.
It is not about Brown defending Obama.
It is about Brown having betrayed EVERY conservative
who supported him, financed him, and ELECTED HIM
AFTER he was elected.
Scott Brown is worse than any copperhead or timber rattlesnake
in Massachusestts.
Brown didn't abandon the Tea Party, they abandoned him. He is a fiscal conservative. He is voting like he said he would.
Perhaps the Tea Party should throw their support to another candidate in 2012, to insure a Democrat wins.
Speak for yourself. I am a conservative who supported him, and I knew what we were getting. What did he lie about? Did he say he was going to vote with Republicans on every issue? Did you think he would? See, I judge people based on what they DO, not what they SAY. If Scott Brown refuses to rip into Obama, I don’t care, as long as he works with Republicans in the Senate to chip away at the deficit spending.
He sucks, I’ve been saying it for a while now.
I’m voting for the Rat candidate next year, I want this assclown gone.
No. He just got on his knees for them. Another shipwreck on the waves of our country. Well, time to get back up and continue the War for America.
That’s productive. Good grief.
Thanks for posting this article, it has generated a lively debate. I listened to Brown’s inteview on Hannity’s radio show but did not see the TV interview.
As a conservative I did not expect much out of Brown, I am getting what I expected. For those who might not have heard the radio interview, he came across as reasonable given the political climate he lives in. IOW, the article is a hatchet job.
The lively debate between RINOs, Republicans, Conservatives and Tea Partiers is instructive and welcome, as long as, IMHO, we all realize that in the end we need to pull together and vote the democrats out regardless of which faction we favor.
Holy metamorphosis, Batman.
Given Brown's bonding with the DNC (like his boss, Romney)
AFTER he was elected (eg. the financial bill)
Brown is a Democrat, POSING as a RINO.
Where have we seen that before?

“Scott Brown rejects Tea Party, says its not productive to criticize Obama.”
I heard him thank the Tea Party.
