It was Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) that talked about what he said was a

“goon squad of 5,000 IRS agents tromping around the country….”

Akin was aiming his remarks at Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who was the panel’s guest of honor, there to convince the panel to raise the debt limit, Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore) was miffed with his colleague’s description of the agents. Meanwhile Geithner estimated that a dollar’s worth of tax enforcement could bring roughly $4 back in revenue.

This (along with the 15,500 new IRS agents to be hired under BaraqqiCare) is the perfect setup for Republicans.

If they can’t make a winning campaign slogan out of this deal, they better hang it up.

Since part of the bill gives them the ‘right’ to all your financial records, including access to your bank accounts, they will simply steal = ah = ‘deduct’ funds from your paycheck and/or bank accounts.

this monstrosity is a thinly disguised TOTAL TAKEOVER of our lives. Health care is a smokescreen.

I’d like someone to spell this out, verse and chapter, to everyone...even the dumbest liberals will not take kindly to most of the agenda in this bill.

I saw on cnbc the other night there are people in the white house whose job is to monitor facebook. I’m sure they’re monitoring here, too. Once all those “agent” thugs are on the payroll I’m afraid we’re all in for it.
