More desperate efforts to contain the “birther” story.
To: Seizethecarp
73% of Repubs either ‘don’t believe’ or ‘aren’t sure.’
That’s a big friggin “fringe.”

It is getting to the point where the “Truthers” are the pathetic clingers on to the big lie that Obama was even eligible to run for president.

Who says this so-called
birther issue hurt the Republican party? Didn't the Republican party get 64 seats even though the
birther issue is in circulation?
Not only is it in circulation, but it is revived thanks to the bumbling Gov. Ambercrombie.

I expect no less from Ted Baxter and Tokyo Rove. If they can’t get Myth and Jeb in there, better Obama than Sarah.

Then both O'Reilly and Rove equated "birthers" with "truthers" and Ron Paul supporters and said they were on the Tea Party and GOP fringe. That's what I thought I heard. It looks like BOR is going to have a daily attack on people who don't believe Obama's BS nativity story without any rational debate.

"He offered up a different poll showing that 58% of Americans believed Obama was born in HI."
I don't care WHO you are or WHAT your political affiliation, if 42% of the population believes that the President was born somewhere OTHER than the US, that is a pretty big slice of America that thinks YOU NEVER belonged in the Oval Office because you aren't an American!

There are distinct differences between birthers and truthers:
- Military aircraft did not destroy Obama's birth records
- There were no explosives found in the basement of the FactCheck.org office
- Cell phones and blackberries do indeed operate at the the elevation the White House is located
- George W. Bush is not Obama's father
- Gold was not found missing under Obama's pillow
- Unlike 9/11 conspiracies, there is only one person involved and is to blame for this fiasco: Obama himself

these idiots (Rove,BOR) think people that speculate in the face of intentionally withheld information and then seek answers i.e. "birthers" are the same as the nut-jobs that formulate "facts" based on no evidence.. .i.e. so called "truthers"
It is incumbent upon the person who runs for President to pass muster. . .He needs to prove his eligibility, not us.

O'Fatty claims to Rove about the newspaper announcements:
"You got that from me. We broke that here first. We investigated that."
No. As Fred Nerks posted on FR on July 02, 2009,
Texas Darlin posted about these announcement back in July 2008. Here note about the announcement:
*The birth announcement was tracked down by Lori Starfelt, the producer of a documentary that PUMA is working on. READ the comments below for in-depth explanations from Lori about the announcement.
O'Fatty's such a numb-nutz blowhard.

Heard an interesting theory on the Medved show this afternoon. The reason there is no birth certificate in Hawaii is that he was born in Seattle. It is hidden because his backstory is a fantasy. His mother and father were never married, and the only relationship was between the sheets. The whole “Dreams of My Father” is all BS. His father just knocked up his mother and that is all there is to it.
