Im new to the Senate but Im not new to this battle. Since the days of Roe v. Wade, when I clerked for Justice Blackman, as a state legislator, as attorney general, I have fought this battle. Blumenthal's press secretary to explain that Bloomie "misspoke" in 3...2...1...

“Since the days of Roe v. Wade,” meaning “days,” as in around that time, not “day,” the exact time, which is true. That’s how he’ll technically get off. Of course the insinuation here is that he worked on the Roe v. Wade case. Lying without technically lying, a hallmark of almost all politicians.
