This is what happens when you promote people because of the color of their skin.

It would be nice to not to have to go bankrupt when dealing with sickness or injury. However, when did being alive come with guarantees?

Not news. This was known since he became a politician.

The reason medical costs are out of control is that the easy availability of medical insurance to employees of corporations and institutions has driven up costs so that the uninsured cannot afford them.

The same thing happened in the cost of college education. Easy student loans translates into higher and higher tuition costs.

Bottom line, throw money at a product and its producers will raised the price.

Obama's solution is to simply demand that everyone be given money to throw at healthcare...basic economics tells us that doesn't work.

Imagine if the President were Allen West, no need for any of this drama or article. He is a real leader.

isn't saying "What is absolutely true is I think in this country, there’s no reason why, if you get sick you should go bankrupt" a call for the redistribution of wealth ?

Not necessarily. Obama could make the case that what he meant was that proper "restructuring" and management of health care could lower the overall cost to the consumer. Nowhere in that statement does he state or even imply that in order to lower costs, there must be redistribution of wealth. The fact is that costs could be lower, but only by removing government involvement, not by adding it, as ObamaCare would.
