Have you read or seen the interviews with these journalists? Really, have you? Come on people, if you look anywhere, I mean anywhere, you can find the articles written by numerous journalists that were beaten by the pro-Mubarak thugs. What is the disdain with journalists when they are risking their lives to get the story out to the western world?

That has bothered me since the getgo. As soon as the first rock was thrown it was universally attributed to the “pro-Mubarack crowd. Did they wear name tags? What would stop MB from identifying themselves as Pro-M when they started the violence? Not one jounalist from any network has challenged this. Odd.

“How do they know they were “pro Mubarak thugs”?”

Exactly my thoughts! It would be more likely to be SEIU and NBP thugs bringing about “hope and change” in Egypt for their master imposter.

In the interview I saw, the reporters said it was a pro-Mubarak demonstrations. Usually people who are beaten up would not lie about who beat them up. Whatever, I just want us to stop sending all that money to Egypt. We can use it here to protect our borders.

It seems to me that the media has derived an algorithm for this: If the crowd is violent, it is a pro-Mubarak crowd. If the crowd carries posters talking about peace, it is a pro-Muslim Brotherhood crowd.

I have also noticed that when a Pro-violence crowd clashes with a pro-peace crowd, the pro-violence crowd is usually beaten into submission and forced off the streets.

Journalist? Well . . . from what I've seen in decades past, up close, so-called journalists are typically hucksters trying to drum up a good story (if it bleeds it leads). Or agents provocateur working the crowd to achieve a political purpose, usually left-wing. But reporting the new!? Hardly.

I think it's a shame that there are careers named “writer”, or “journalist” or “politician”. I mean what is the value of being a “professional writer” - then writing whatever sells? These types of professions are part of the reason for the intellectual constipation of western culture (ie: FOS).
