These so-called “journalists” are not objectively reporting events—They are actively involved in trying to overthrow the Mubarek government, and the fool in the White House is following their lead.

“Reporters” of all stripes in this country have abrogated their Constitutional responsibility in favor of activism on behalf of the Left.

I think that’s why many folks are enjoying the sight of these self-important a$$e$ getting knocked-around a bit—I know I am.

Freedom of the Press is not the freedom to lie and distort.

I think some info is needed...are the Muslim Brotherhood primarily Arab while the “pro Mubarik” folks primarily Egyptian? Hpw many displaced Arabs and Palestinians have risen up against Mubarik vs real Egytians who are just simply Muslim?

Brett Baier actually made that mistake the other day.

He claimed that the gas pipeline was blown up by people loyal to Obama. LOL He corrected it but not before I got a chuckle out of it.

Can anyone confirm the rumor that Richard Simmons was in Cairo to teach them to throw rocks.

Palestinians are Egyptians. That’s where Egypt keeps their real trash, like a human landfill.

Hey, good statement! - I have always said that the protections of the 1st do not extend to lying to promote an agenda.
As it is written on my page:

freedom of the press does not mean freedom from the truth

And that’s why the Marine’s, in their infancy, wore leather collars when confronting the Barbary pirates.

“How do they know they were “pro Mubarak thugs”?”

Exactly my thoughts! It would be more likely to be SEIU and NBP thugs bringing about “hope and change” in Egypt for their master imposter.

What is the disdain with journalists when they are risking their lives to get the story out to the western world?

_______________________________________________

There is a childish element here that sees everything through the prism of a a false conservative value judgement. To this group everything and everybody falls on one side of an imagined fence or the other. In this case their formula is simple...

journalist = liberal = coward/liar/enemy

Therefore any journalist who pays the price for doing his job is either lying about it or just got what he deserves and any courage that he may show must be ignored or denied. That's what true conservatives do.

The reporting has been ass backward anyway.

The media keeps suggesting that pro Mubarak thugs are responsible for the gas explosion but those same reporters don’t question why people who have been friendly to Israel would do something to harm Israel.

I heard an interview with an Egyptian businessman asking why the media isn’t reporting on the foreigners who have flowed into the country to stir things up. He’s asking why was there was no reporting on the coordinated firebombing of police stations all around the country at the exact same time? Why no reporting on the coordinated attacks on prisons that released tens of thousands of inmates? Why would Mubarak release thousands of radical islamists who hate him?

In the interview I saw, the reporters said it was a pro-Mubarak demonstrations. Usually people who are beaten up would not lie about who beat them up. Whatever, I just want us to stop sending all that money to Egypt. We can use it here to protect our borders.

Were any Fox or other Journalists beaten during 2009 post election riots in Iran? Don’t recall reading about any. That’s where Iranian regime along with their imported Palestinian & other Arab thug sympathizers are kinda smart. They don’t beat up ‘official’ foreign journalists, they just promptly kick them out from the start & stop them from reporting. Instead, they arrest, imprison, torture & rape the Iranian protesters, which the ‘foxy’ journalists can totally ignore.

I have read some fascinating articles on the new newspaper on the iPad. The Daily is having some fantastic articles on Egypt. If you can get your hands on an iPad, I would recommend it- even if it’s just for this one newspaper.

I thought the Palestinians were primarily Jordanians who had lived in the West Bank area before Israel took it in the three wars of 48,56,and 67 last century? Not saying there weren’t other nationalities sprinkled in.

Remember the “Coup” in Honduras? The media still runs with that completely false narrative.
