Maybe the Arab World Was Meant to be Enslaved by Outsiders

Writers about the Middle East always seem to think it is key to distinguish between Sunni and Shia, between Persian, Turk and Arab. For example, we were told that the Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda could never work together with Iran because the first two are Sunni and Iran is Shia.

All of these distinctions have proven to be meaningless, just something people say to sound informed. Iran trains Sunni Hamas thugs and protects Sunni Al-Qaeda members. The only trend worth noting is that the Arab world is increasingly owned by the Persian (Iranian) world. Lebanon is run by Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy army. The Gaza Strip is run by Hamas, an Iranian proxy army. Revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt (and perhaps Yemen and Jordan) are celebrated by the primitive rulers in Tehran. Syria is an Iranian ally, as soon will be Iraq.

Persian domination of the Arabs is not new. Before the Persians, the Arabs were dominated by the Turks and the Western Europeans. Algeria, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco and (briefly) Egypt were French colonies. Italy and then the British colonized Libya. The Brits also colonized Transjordan, the entire Arabian Peninsula, Egypt and Iraq. Before that, the non-Arab Turks suppressed the entire Arab world. Before that, the Mongols did the same.

American and British oil companies found and developed the only resources that have kept the Arabs from starving to death in the 20th and 21st centuries. This brings up an important point.

In the past 700 years the Arab world has not won a single war with outsiders, nor developed a single technology, product or philosophy the world uses. Other than extracted resources such as oil and gas, what do Arabs export? Pistachios? Rugs? Is it possible that their culture uniquely exists today to be dominated by other, more creative cultures...

No need for me to distinguish between those tribes.

A turd is a turd no matter how you polish it, it is still sh*t.

"nor developed a single technology"

What about the suicide bomber belt?

The use of fully fueled passenger planes as cruise missles?

Ambulances as armed personnel carriers?

Small skiffs as pirate ships?

Mosques as ammo dumps and armories?

The UN as a new form of Jihad?

Good point. Then again, I never said they were not clever at re-purposing technologies that others invented.

I don’t care if they have contributed everything we have today......they are evil and must be opposed.

There IS an historical political dichotomy between Persian and Arab. Nasser tried the UAR (United Arab Republic), which flopped. Now the Iranians are trying to re-establish and expand "Persian" hegemony over the region.

Oil money has led to a very slight improvement in the living standards of the Muslim world. Very slight. However, that tiny improvement has led to a population explosion of enormous consequence to the West.

Now the Muslim world cannot feed, clothe, house, and care for itself, yet it is rich enough to arm itself and point untold millions of "jihadists" toward those peoples whom they have identified as the cause of their poverty and misery. Us.

We are the caravan they are getting ready to raid. Byzantium, Tours, Granada, Lepanto, Vienna, Mohacs, and the West has forgotten.

This is an excellent point.

Slavers fit only to be slaves. Destructive and unhappy at the table of civilization as an ox in a library. Almost universally subscribe to a ridiculous "religion" for hundreds of years that only the mentally feeble could entertain for a moment.

They are meant for servitude, not to be treated as equals. For collars, not crowns.

Interesting to contemplate.

Today is a good day to die.
I didn't say for whom.

Over the centuries, various countries have discovered that, concerning the Arabs, it’s either suppress them or die. 21st Century nations ignore the lessons of the centuries at their peril.

Right now, I’d say Israel is the only one that gets it.

BTW, why didn’t you just post the entire article here? You claim to be the author: Do you, personally, have a copyright infringement issue with FR? If so, why did you post any of this?

The problem is Islam which snuffs out individual liberty, freedom of conscience, toleration of other ideas, rational inquiry and any thoughts of democracy. Islamic society in its thinking is about where the Western World was in the 10th century. Western democracy grew out of ideas from the Renaissance, Reformation and especially the Enlightenment, stages of societal evolution that have yet to happen in Islam.

Agree totally about their ‘culture’ etc. but even a small rabid animal is dangerous.

We must not underestimate their ability to have enough money to get ahold of enough nukes to do tremendous damage to western civilization.

Their ancestor was cursed to be, “A wild donkey of a man.” who would always be at odds with his neighbors. Trying to think or treat them otherwise is foolishness.

They are like young children and matches, lighters and scissors.

The parent has to take care they dont get their hands on these things as they will do damage to themselves or others.

Its time to repossess and repatriate the technologies. If they wont volunteer them then removal forcibly and destructively is the only option. With as much destruction as possible to ensure that the life is taken out of their programs.

Before Mohammad and the Meccan Arabs got their act together all the Arabs were dominated by the Sassanids (Persians) or the Byzantines (who owned the Anatolian portion of the former Persian empire).

The Arab conquest was the one high spot in what amounts to another 1400 years of their being crushed by foreigners.

I think they beg for this so they can complain about being victims.
