Any freepers that live around there please consider going to dinner there to show support. Even if you don't like Palin we must stop this type of tactic. The Nazi's used the same type of tactic to destroy dissent in the body politic. This is disgusting and must be fought at every level.
There is no room in America for this crap. They used the same tactic to shut up people that voted against gay marriage in CA.

If I had their name I would call em up, order something pay for it with a credit card, and then have them give it to the next customer, a homeless person or whatever, just to help them!

I would say that the restaurant owner has a legitimate lawsuit against the facebook posters.

If they call and “book a banquet” with the intention of not showing and costing the guy money, then all he has to do is to require a non refundable deposit equivalent to 1/2 the total.

that would be great. If you get a hold of them post back and update us on what he had to say. I'm going to try to call tomorrow night, hopefully I'll get home before they close. If not first thing Monday.

Don't most places require that? I know when I book a hall I had to pay a deposit.
I'm just upset that not only one person but a group of people would do something like this. Not surprised just upset. And it's not even a simple boycott. They want to destroy this guy. So much for the new civility.

Read Witness by Whitaker Chambers. The Communists do that to whoever crosses them or leaves them for Christianity. If you are not a Democrat, you can’t work for social services, just try it.

Do these geniuses even realize this is a buffet? You don’t make reservations. You go in, pay your ten bucks and eat until you can barely waddle. They have a banquet room. Pay a deposit with a valid credit card and it’s yours. Reviews on the internet? Seriously? “Well, Billy Bob, I was going to drive my pickup to the buffet and stuff my face, but I read on the internet that the arugula isn’t certified organic and the fish isn’t wild-caught and the coffee growers aren’t paid a living wage.”

Conservatives disagree with pretty much everything President Obama stands for, but when we see a business owner displaying a pro Obama sign we will not boycott them. That for me is an untrue statement. Although a private boycott, I absolutely refuse to patronize any business that supports candidates/leftists/marxists etc. that are trying to destroy my country.

I’d be willing to bet my house that since this establishment is run by a conservative the food is good, the staff is friendly and caring and the place is clean as a whistle.
In other words it’s in great, competent hands. Probably turning a pretty good coin too.
