That is some excellent work—thanks for posting this. I didn’t realize there were so many doubts and inexplicable irregularities associated even with the birth announcements. It makes you wonder: is *anything* about Soetoro real?
On a side note, what would you say to an Obot who believes the letter Abercrombie read at a Kapiolani fundraiser confirms that Soetoro was born at that hospital? I read that the White House won’t even confirm the authenticity of the letter; is that your understanding too?

The birth announcement means nothing unless it specifically states he was born in Hawaii. I know people who lived in MA then moved, but, when they had children a small birth announcement would appear in the local newspaper saying Jane and Joe so and so announce the birth of their baby - most locals know that jane and joe live in France now -
Ping for later. This is interesting...I am someone who believes one of two things about this:
1.) He is a natural citizen but has no proof
2.) He is, by law, not a natural citizen of the US.
I guess that makes me a birther, then.

I have a question that I'm sure you've already considered: Why would Kapiolani or Queens have ANY documentary information from 1961?
The law only requires records to be maintained for 25 years, and since the big push to digitize began a few years ago, hospitals have been extremely aggressive about destroying old paper records that can make space for new mainframes and associated equipment.
I had a case recently which turned to a degree on something that happened in our hospital in 1958.
I assumed recovering the data would be simple - in fact, it turned out to be impossible. Not even the record of the person's admission oas a child existed any longer.
If Abercrombie (or anyone) went to my hospital with a search warrent for 1961 records, the records office would die laughing.
Why does everyone assume that Kapiolani or Queens have any records from 1961? I'm almost sure they don't.

1. Obama made a speech in Seattle at the Bellvue Community College for a Democratic Rally in Oct/2006, in his first year in office as U.S.Senator. This is the only visit I can find that might have provided an opportunity for "meddling" in Seattle.
2. Cynthia Stroum, an Obama fundraiser, rewarded with a choice ambassadorship, brought the U.S. embassy in Luxembourg to "a state of dysfunction" in only one year on the job. She suddenly left her post Jan/31 last week. So where is this incompetent returning home to? .......Seattle.
